I may have just found the future!

I've played around and followed most of the filler mod's on here, with varying success. Best I had found was the PTG mod, however it doesn't seem to last a whole lot.

So playing around today, and trying to find a use for all my filters I have left from smoking roll-ups for 5 years, and idea struck me!

So here's what I've done.

I took a swan or rizzla brand extra slim filter and cut about 50mm of the end so that the filter will fit in width-ways across the top of the cartridge. Then I took it out and filled the cart about 3 1/4 full with e-liquid, then let it seep into the filter.

I can report that this is easy the best filler I have used so far. NO leaks, burning taste at all! And the TH is both strong and consistent, as if I was dripping!

Good idea! I'm still quite new to vaping, but as a former hand-roller myself, it seems like carrying a few pre-cut filter tips around would be a bit more convenient than loose poly fill or blue foam. Anyone else try this yet?

Using "roll-yer-own" filters as filler material has been discussed before, and I've tried them myself (but not the type that you are using). I don't remember anyone doing it this way, but the idea sounds similar to one of the "plug" mods.

Give is some results when you are done with testing.

It would seem likely that the filter won't give much of the juice back overall. When you feel you are "done" with the filter and you believe it's empty take some tweezers and take it out and squish it onto a towel and see just how damp/wet it gets.

I've tried a number of things on my short time to varying success also, but it seems in the long term of the vaping session (towards the end) it just doesn't quite let go of my last drops. With the exception of the ZFM method, which is excellent *so far*.

Another A+ for the ZFM here (now that I've got it working) !! So much nicer without having ANY filler/stuffing in my 510 carts now, not to mention no dryout yuk taste.

Check out this link. ZFM means Zero fill(er) mod. No stuffing, no wicks, no filters...just read this link it'll make some sense. I got it right on the first attempt, although a little off center, my second one looks better.
