My build is so simple that it's embarrassing to show. Sorry the coil and wick have been on a while. The coils seem to last forever. Love that I don't have to empty tank to rewick. I do a simple 7 wrap 30ga coil (1.6 to 1.8 ohm). I did exchange center post for silver upgrade. I just dryburn and insert new cotton, so very simple.
I forgot to mention that I make the wick extra long so I can pull up fresh cotton (clip the old off) when I don't need to dryburn.
pretty much the same here. 6 wraps of 28 on a 5/64 drill bite twist a piece of cotton and side it in there. Works good
If I still it back from my brother I will make a braided 32 ga micro coil for it. the braided 32 give a warmer better vape IMO

Nice, now im gonna go order one!!! I've wanted one but have no desire to try using mesh... Anyone wanna point me to a good one? I'd like a glass tank...
Thank for info... Im stoked. Does this mean I could use cotton on any of these genesis style tanks? I'm looking at the youde aga t3 or t2. I do not want a huge tank... I like switching flavors a lot...
I made fresh coils last night for both my Pyrex RSST, I took pics so you could see how much cotton I use. I do the same build for my Caravella RTA so it should work for most genesis style tanks.
BTW, I did 10 wraps 28ga on a blunt nose needle. I don't want to subohm because I sometimes switch to a regulated mod.

BTW it is really easy. I used 30ga with 7 wraps came out at 1.5 ohms. Leave it on the 5/64 drill, drop the drill down the insulated hole. Screw on the lower leg, pull the washer down with a little screwdriver and get the top leg in between the screw head and washer, let go the washer. Pull out the drill, test fire. Twist your wick, not too much cotton, thread it down into the tank, clip off above the coil.

Are you using cotton from cotton balls or yarn? I've only ever used yarn. I cannot seem to pull and twist from cotton balls... I have some ekowool, and plan to order some more. Im wondering if you might know the diameter of the wicking holes?

If you go to the KP link they give the exact sizes but the insulated hole is just over 3mm. 5/64 is about 2mm. Yarn would work fine I would think. Just get it far enough into the tank. While you vape you tilt the whole thing like a top coil clearo to keep the wick wet at the deck.

I find that draping the cotton over the coil and tucking it down in the wick hole keeps the coil wetter and makes for better wicking.. it also keeps it from leaking if it's sideways. To get the cotton down through the coil, just twist it enough to get it started and coming out the bottom of the coil, then take some needle nosed tweezers and pull it down from the bottom of the coil down into the tank.

Well I'm going to be different lol. I like to do a horizontal build on my rba's. Eight raps of 28g on a 1/16 drill bit for 1 ohm. Slide the cotton through the coil, one end go's in the tank the other end is cut short and tucked under the coil on top of the wick hole so it wicks from both sides.
Most current build as of Thursday. 26g duals on a 1/16th. 9 wraps each, .4 ohms. 7/64's airhole. It's basically a dripper with a tank that doesn't leak. Wicking has been great too.

Before that I had been running 28g duals on a needle @ .5 ohms. Ran that setup for months.
