I was thinking about getting an rta for the convenience of a tank but the vapor and flavor of an rda. Do rtas put out as much vapor and flavor as an rda? If so what is the rta to get? I like rdas for the fact u can switch flavors at anytime. But I dont vape when I drive for the simple fact its unsafe to drip and drive. Do rtas work just like rdas outside it has a tank on it?

In my personal opinion, RDA's give better flavor...but everyone doesn't agree. For an easy travel set up, look at the Intake. It's a single coil rta that has great flavor and very nice airflow. If you need a dual coil rta, maybe check out the Engine V2.

I'd say you can get pretty excellent RBAs with great flavor, and poor ones. I'm going to suggest there is overlap, in my opinion. I think if you get the right RTA for you, the flavor can be good to excellent, it's really fairly subjective. However, with that said, I find RTAs easier than dripping especially on the go, so if you don't like to squonk well an RTA may be your best bet. There are some really good ones that are well liked on the market, so I see no reason not to give it a shot.

Since you started with RBAs you may have a slight learning curve when it comes to wicking, or you may do just fine. etc. But I see no reason not to try one, I just don't have really any recommendations since I don't vape the same way as you. I do however have many RTAs that I love the flavor of.

You could, if you so desire, try a drop in coil RTA, or a mesh atomizer there ARE some great drip in tanks like say, the Original Uwell Crown which is consistently well liked and I guess Fireluke and a few other makers are getting all into mesh, lots of reviews for flavor and clouds.

Good luck,

Anna

I like dripping the most. I vape only at home so I dont really need a rta. I was just curious bout them if they give the same vapor and flavor as an rda.

RTAs are more dependent on coil placement and wick technique. If you don’t like to fiddle with your builds and wick I would say try a Freemax Mesh Pro. The dual and triple mesh coils offer flavor as good as a well built rta. If you prefer to build might want to mention what type of builds and af, etc. that you enjoy.

Way back when I was in the TC Mod kick for about a year and a half (until about a year plus ago) I bought a lot of RTA's/RDTA's @Ephraim Cooper. The hands down winner for me was the Geek Vape Avocado Genesis 22mm and the Avocodo 24mm RDTA's. I got exceptional flavor rich dense vapor from them. I have 3 of each (in both black and SS versions). They easily saw the majority of my vaping time on TC Mods that I simply ran in power mode (wattage), and also did duty on mech mods and dual series mech mods. I even ran a quad coil build in one of the AG 22's (mostly ran on a Noisy Cricket).

Authentic 22's are still available new from several China mail order houses for around $25 shipped. Not sure if new 24's are still available, but maybe the last version might be... the bottom air version (that I had no interest in).

I wish Ephraim would move back. I know it's impossible.

Of course, he was a true master of impossible, improbable and implausible things! Like every post was like a "Chose your own adventure" book. It was GREAT.

Thanks for reminding me once again of Ephraim Cooper. :)

If you really do miss the spaz master you can find him on the underground forum

@sdennislee I know but it's not the same without Y'ALL. Also no rules and etc., I don't want to drive him to you know, something tragic (although really, I just used to talk to him as if he were the really dimwitted younger child I never had, I was kind, even sweet and supportive) but man, I loved watching YA'LLS responses. LOL.

He was fun. I considered my replies to be more of a PSA type message, you know trying to fix him so those closest to him would find some peace.

And yes I saw him as very child like, one that drove all the adults crazy with a game of 20 questions that lacked any real focus.
