The two RTAs I have for best flavor are the Boreas V2 and Troll. I see some mention the Blitzen which I had interest in and should do well, but probably a tad less. From looking at rta layouts and how the RTAs perform, it seems the characteristics that give best flavor are having airflow that runs straight through the coil to the chimney, having a shorter chimney, and having a dividing partition between the coils. The Troll and Boreas V2 have all of those characteristics and beat every other rta that I have. That’s my current theory and I’m sticking to it. lol
Agreed on the Boreas V2 also. While not the top spot for me, it's a great RTA.

And I love the compact design. it's very much in use with me along with the Troll. Two things that annoy me with the Boreas is that I have to fill it from the bottom or some juice leaks. No matter how fast I fill it. It never leaks otherwise though. The other annoyance is that vapor residue sucks up into the air control ring so there's always a film of it around that ring.

A little bit more cotton and closing the airflow while filling should negate the leaking.
It's a very thin line between success and failure though, because this tank acts like a little princess when it comes to wicking, but if you get it perfectly right, the Boreas V2 performs exceptionally well.

Yup it is finicky. It doesn't leak every time, but enough that I prefer bottom filling it. I use 3mm ID coils so I'm already using more cotton than typical.

I use 3mm coils and I feed them with about a third of a peeled mujipad each, without thinning it out too much. It's not the thickness of the wick that's tricky, it's more the length of each tail. Too long and it dryhits, not long enough and it leaks.
I use 80VG/10PG/10H2O btw.

Speaking of "easy-ish", RDAs are easier to rewick, easier to not break the glass of excepting only if you insist on putting a really posh glass cap on, easier for me to talk about on the internet because they're the only type of atomizer that I own, etc.. :p
Good Lord, dude.....you've been rattling on for 3 pages about rdas in an RTA thread. Rdas are only better for those of us who prefer rdas. Why are you dive bombing an RTA thread? Geez

To the op:
Squape e-motion
Hurricane 1.3
Taifun GT 3
Skyline
K5*2
That's my list of favorites for flavor rtas....but I usually squonk .

Leakage problems are normaly due to incorrect wicking on most bottom flow atty's etc .

its a fine line from to tight and causing dry hits to not enough and causing a leak .

practice over and over until you get it right .

you should have the wick tucked in or laying over juice holes just enough so you can almost chain vape with out a dry hit but not so loose that it leaks, its a fine line and every brand of atty will be different due to style and manufacturing tolerances .

work with all your atty's until you get to know their quirks and then you should have a good vape from them all .

dont dismiss one to quick because it seems to have problems as they are user related most of the time ,i have shelved many then gone back to them at a later date and they are great as you learn all sorts of tips and tricks with different atty's then you can go back to the so called problematic ones and they seem just fine .

enjoy them all and have fun .

not only is wicking an art form to get right .

So is juice viscosity ie how thick or thin and runny it is .

The norm is that small fine coils and thin wicks require a thinner juice if your juice is to thick try to thin it very slightly with a few drips of distilled water or a little extra PG.

On the other hand if its to thin try to thicken it up by adding some extra VG .

Also remember when adjusting juice viscosity you will also knock down the flavor a little so you may need to add a touch more flavor to balance it back out .

With a thin runny juice wicks can be smaller and a little more packed and tighter and they will still draw the juice up to the coil pretty well ,with thicker juice the wicks need to be more fluffed out and loose to draw the denser more syrupy juice up and through the wick fibers . getting both of these right is getting to know you atty and its little quirks .

If you combine the two wicking and juice viscosity with the right coil etc you should get the best over all vape from any atty .

The more effort you put in the more you get back out in an enjoyable vape experience .

Limited by the configuration of the atty. (such as; size and shape of chamber, airflow size and location, length of chimney, Coil size and material, wattage, wick material, etc, etc...). Other than that you should get a perfectly enjoyable vape.:thumb:

I could rattle on for 3 pages about RTAs if you'd like, but the flavor from those is not even worth rattling on about for a half page. :p

Then maybe you should consider rattling on in a thread NOT about rtas. Crazy thought, I know.

Rda for the win

Here's a thread dedicated to how rdas are better than rtas....it's ever current. Oddly enough, you havent participated in it. It seems you'd rather be derailing this one.

No one has mentioned my favorite
Asmodus Zesthia, I’m a single coil vaper, I don’t like messing with two (or more) coils. I find I can get all the heat, surface area, etc. out of one coil and if not, the chamber is too big.
Honorable mention-the Digiflavor Themis mesh
It has to be wicked like you want it to leak so it gets enough juice to feed that mesh but when set up right, it’s delightful and lasts a long time between rebuilds.

I'm not derailing it in any way. The OP's question was "RTA you feel gives the best flavor", to which I replied. :D
