I was reading up on some DIY info and read that the plastic bottle that contains the nic can/will leach into the nic. I am wondering if I need to be concerned about that at this point? I received my nic in the beginning of March. Thank you.

Oh, it has been stored in the basement (still in the plastic bottle it came in) which is cool and wrapped in a black garbage bag.

Hi skydragon,
I'll let someone else answer, but how much is left in the bottle?

Woot! Do let us know what you think of them and which ones that you tried. Are they fairly thick compared to other flavorings that you have tried?

Inquiring minds need to know :)

I picked up Indian, fluecured, pipe and cigar. They are thicker than my other flavors but nothing that would cause an issue. the flavors I got have a dark color to them also. I made some 5ml testers @8% in 30/70 pg/VG and am going to see how they turn out. So far no perfumey fake flavors like alot of the tobaccos I've tried. Now I just have to try to exercise some patience...

The RTS bottles have a special coating and they are okay short term. But, long term you need to put it in glass bottles. I think that 6 months is the limit on the RTS bottles.

I keep everything in glass and that is one of the reasons that I am thrilled that RTS flavors are sold in glass bottles.

Thanks SG. I ordered some bottles yesterday and will transfer them when I get them. I don't know why but it sure doesn't seem like I ordered them way back in March. Maybe the crappy weather. Seems like the beginning of spring instead of June.

I always think WI is just one climate-cold and damp. Today is hot/humid.

I haveto admit I think WI weather leaves a lot to be desired. When I think about it I always wonder why anyone ever settled in this state. Obviously they were made of hardier stuff than I am. But then, I wasn't raised here so I wonder it that makes a difference.

Time sure does fly by. Got my 2 flavors in glass and they reached 6 months sitting in plastic  Thats not going to happen again:)

It sure seems to lately.

.
I am not a native either. I hate Wisconsin but we need jobs. I lived in Moore, Ok and various places in SW Mo. I think I was spoiled by the weather. However, I did grow up in Chicagoland and the weather was similar to WI.

I hope I can get a decent internet plan soon. I really need some bottles and flavorings. I cannot order on this type of connection I have...I had to cancel my wifi hotspot after it was hacked twice.

Does anyone know if RTS will do phone orders?

Our HDPE white bottles are flame cured on the inside and the manufacturer states 6 months before leaching occurs. Probably a few more months if you freeze the bottles.
