Rubber Smell & Taste

Hello, newbie here.

I started vaping about 2 weeks ago. After reading a thread here I bought the Kanger Mini Protank-II and a eGo-v battery.

I changed the coil about 3 days ago after a reduction in vaper. I primed it and everything was fine for the past few days until this evening...I started to get a smell and taste of burning rubber.

Has anyone ever experienced this?...what is causing this?...and what did I do wrong?

You are welcome....He and others have some good info that I have been using....I wrap my coils on a 1/16" drill bit with 10 wraps and then torch it and squeeze with pliers to make a tight micro coil....then use cotton inside with a small flavor cotton top and the flavor is much better and you can chain vape most of the time.....you can buy new rubber grommets if needed from Lightning Vape which is nice cause I had a lot of burn ones....good luck tsunami147

They'd be up and running in a few days without any of the hot spots or flooding.

Wish I'd had so much info in one place when I started. I hope more people will contribute there and post their resistance results on the latter.
