Anyone else getting bad taste & smell in their mouth?

Hello everyone! New vaper here. Wondering if anyone else is getting bad taste & smell (just woke up in the morning type of smell) pretty much all day. I never had this before I started vaping. Mind you I was a smoker, so I smelled more like an ashtray....

Is this normal, and is there something that I can do about it?

Smoking might have been masking odors / tastes that were already there...

Brushing, Flossing...and perhaps a cleaning to support your switching to vaping ?

as you quit smoking, your sense of smell and taste come back... with attitude!!!

also make sure you drink plenty of water, more than you did before, this helps a lot.

For me, it started with bad tastes/smells.
Then I started hacking up nastiness.
As was pointed out, as long as you are hydrated, your recovering tastebuds combined with old smoking gunk....yuck

I was an absolute mess when I quit. Thought my teeth were trying to jump out of my mouth, couldn't taste or smell anything, then I got really physically ill, left work early one day, and I don't leave work.

Few weeks later better than ever, but I was a miserable ..... for a while.

At about week two of vaping, I got just what you are describing. I think is was all the junk in my lungs and sinuses coming loose. It will pass, and you will find your sense of taste and smell are better. As was said, drink lots of water and try brushing the back of your tongue.
