Hello, I was wondering if anyone else was running over 12 watts on an istick 20w, I currently have the nautilus mini and full size tanks and found that it likes higher wattage. I'm using 30/70 pg/ Vg. Seems to kill the battery ALOT faster, especially when chain vapin. I'm lucky to get a full charge to last the whole day. I have a 30 watt istick coming Thursday, can't wait!!

I find that my nautilus mini runs best around 12-13 watts without burning. It will kill your battery faster at higher wattages. I have an IPV mini with a 2500 mah battery and I have yet to get a full day out of a single charge. I think the internal battery on the 30 watt istick is the same size as the original (2200 mah), so your battery life will likely be the same. But with the 30W version, you can grow into different types of tanks with a broader range of tanks since it can fire down to .5 ohm.
I run my Nauti's between 14-15.5w usually on my iStick. I've got a couple lower ohm coils that I'll even run at 18w, good flavor good vapor.
Hey Phthaloblue, what pg/vg ratios are you using at that wattage? Using 30/70 juice my reg Nautty works fine with the bdc coil, the mini I've been having nothing but issues with the bvcs, constant spitback from gurgling, even when it doesn't make noise I still get what tastes like a mouth of e juice.... Been thru 4 different coils, all legit

I use BVCs in my Nauti/Nauti-Minis, 1.8ohm for the 14-15 range, and 1.6ohm for the 16-18w+ range. 50/50 juice from ITC, I haven't had much gurgling or anything.
Highest I have seen my iStick is 19.2w. Seemed happy enough.
Mostly, I use it in volts. About 4.0v for mini Nautilus and 3.8v for Kanger tanks with homemade coils. (10 watts max?)
