Hey Guys,

I am an old member that quit smoking successfully with an ego510 for 2 years, smoked real cigs for a year, now i have to quit!

I have been out of the game for some time with e cigs so i need your advice.

In need of a good starter kit new ecig with a clearomizer? also what is the general consensus on this?

do normal batteries like ego's still last almost a day?

There are many small clearos that will fit the bill, that's why I'm focused more on the battery. "mAh" is what determines how long a battery will last between charges, but the more mAh the longer the battery is. 100mAh theoretically is equal to 1 hour of use, but it tends to be shorter vaping. I usually knock 2 hours off of the time, which is probably too much I figure if it lasts longer people will be happy.

i want to be able to go out and smoke it for the day.

so clearomizer i think might lasdt me a day same with battery

size like a small sharpie is perfect! any suggestions for a starter kit>?

I started using ecigs a few months back, and my wife and I both started off with VAMO V2's with Protanks... She has now decided that the vamo is to big, and wants something a little easier to carry around.

I purchased an itaste vv 3.0 with a few ce4 clearo's for her the other day and I think the total was around $50 shipped. I used the website ivape.net and with the coupon code on the product page made the mod itself only $35.

Congratulations on making the decision to quit smoking again... I'm glad I quit, and now only vape.

That is the best bang-for-your-buck kit available out there for devices in it's class I'm aware of, myself and other members frequently recommend it.

ETA: They have a Protank that can be added to the kit which will kick the order up high enough for free shipping. Some people don't like the Portank, however, many of us haven't had enough trouble not to give it a try. Plus it's glass, so that will give you at least one clearo you can use with juices that might degrade plastic.

This is the kit I have......I got 2 650mAH Twists...the T3 clearos are fine, but I "upgraded" to the Protank 2 and plan to get another when my piggy bank grows a tad!!
If you go with the 1300mAH you should be good for the day (get 2!!;))
Happy (vaping) Trails!

Thanks.

I am thinking about kanger t3 ego bottom coil clearomizer and adding a kanger pro tank with vision spinner 1300 and 1000 twist.

would you recommend any changes?

I would get the Kanger EVOD instead of the T3. It gets higher marks from those who use it. It also takes the same "heads" (replaceable bottom coils) as the Protank. You should a couple get extra heads no matter what you choose that have replaceable ones.

Kanger heads: Atomizer Head for Kanger Protank & EVOD

An extra Protank base wouldn't be bad to have around. You may never need it, but at $1.29 it might come in a handy someday.

Base: 510 Kanger Protank Base

ETS: Unfortunately, I don't think they have the Protank 2 yet. But you pick one up at a later date.

That's what you want. Get it with Twists and EVODs. MAH is going to depend on your usage so hard to suggest but for me I'd rather carry two 900mah and switch when needed than one large one. Also order a second charger for a spare or the car, if it fails your hosed until a new one comes in. Always have back-ups. I'd also go ahead and order a pack of spare heads as well. Great starter set.

thanksboomhower. I have a charger around here somewhere and i bought two heads
KRPT-AH-0001 Atomizer Head for Kanger Protank/EVOD - 1.8Ω/ohm
and 2.4 ohm

not sure what the difference will be.

Thanks for your advice

With the variable voltage you won't notice much of a difference, just lower voltage needed for the lower ohm.

Welcome back. I picked up a couple of joy-tech eGo-C clearomizer starter sets at myfreedomsmokes.com and i love them. Been rotating the batteries so i can get the most life out of them and picked up a camera case at walmart for when i travel. The 1000mA batteries last me a day and a half and i'm a chain vaper. My new favorite tank is the EVOD for times when i want more time without rejuicing i use the vivi mini nova which holds 2ml. If you want more juice time get the vivi nova which holds 3ml.
