I have to wonder if all the moisture we vape isn't loosening up sinus cavities that have been caked with analog debris for decades. That has to cause short term issues. I've read that VG dehydrates more than PG but to me it sure seems the opposite.

I wonder too about certain flavors loosening sinus cavities. Aromatherapy definitely works for me with sinus infections, as does a neti pot. So maybe some of these flavors help with sinus drainage? I have a background in herbal medicine and I know berries loosen everything up- sinuses, digestion, etc. And I've noticed my nose running more with my blueberry juice. Not enough data to conclude it's from blueberry vapor, but quite possible. I can say with 90% certainty that vaping cinnamon would do it, as would a number of herbs that would never be used for flavoring. There has to be some crossover.

Vapor is a humectant--expect mucus formation to be erratic.

Even after 14 months, I get the throat mucus buildup if I do not drink enough water. Everyone is different, and everyone experiences the "quitters flu" differently. For some, it is a mild lethargic feeling for a few days/weeks, for others it is an acute effect that rears its ugly head in the form of a side effect.

Keep drinking water and power through the symptoms--as a drinker, I'm constantly reminded of how fragile and water-based I am.

Well I can't claim to have any form of condinsation or nasal irritation or sinus irritation from vaping. That said my seasonal allergies have been worse this year than any other year. Probably from not smoking. That said I've had a bad case of quit zits lately.

I would suggest that the OP drink plenty of water, the only problem I've had I can directly relate to vaping that isn't also a cessation symptom is clear phlegm at the back of the throat that needs to be cleared if I'm slightly dehydrated. So I've had to drastically increase my water intake. I went from not drinking water very often to drinking 3L a day on top of the other fluids I drink--though I did notice my coffee intake tapered off drastically.
