Runyan V8

"v8" is too short to be a search term, so even though this may have been asked before I'm gonna do it again.

The Runyan v8, is it a rebranded DSE901 or something? Is it comparable to some other standard model?

the Ruyan v8 is pretty much the same as a DSE-801 penstyle.

from what i have read..they dont burn as hot as other penstyles. as for the price...i believe you are paying for brand recognition as i believe they are the e-cig originators.

anything ruyan i believe has their little sailboat logo.

my ruyan e-cigars has that logo and on the carts as well...also my 2 e-cigars have serial #'s on them

Ruyan are the inventors of the Electronic cigarette and have copyright on the design.

All e-cigs on the market today are plagiarizing Ruyan's Original concept.

Still won't make me spend £130 on a penstyle tho

I might as well admit it, I bought one of the things (thinking it was a bulk order of 10). So now I'll have 2 vastly overpriced devices. I just hope it's better than the Smokingeverywhere POS.

I guess part of the high price is also a very long guarantee - not sure on the V8, but their cigars (so probably also the V8) have no less then 5 years guarantee... that costs also. (But then, how many times are you spending the 50 or 60 for a device without guarantee to get you through those 5 years). It's a choice... (if you can make it for starters, many can't).

Yup, seems to be an 801. Batteries are interchangeable anyway.
Going through the initial charge so I've no opinion except I believe the website said a 1 year warranty. Theoretically better than the 2 weeks most people offer, providing the warranty is worth a damn.... shipping back and forth for repairs could easily exceed the cost of a generic 801.
