I haven't seen a whole lot on the stick V8, so thought I would share my opinion.
We made the journey to Omaha for the Neil Diamond concert Friday, so I got to spend some time at my great vape shop. I have been wanting another Big Baby Beast and was also interested in something a bit smaller and easier to carry for say, going to a concert. I had seen the V8, but wasn't sure because of the need to only use the M2 coils making use of the BBB exclusive to the V8. But with a $20 off credit making the kit cheaper then just the tank alone and confirmation that regular baby coils could be used if I wanted to put it on a "full mod", I took the leap. And I am very happy I did!
While I am not a fan of built in batteries, at the price of the kit, the stick is almost thrown in when buying a big baby tank. It is a bit frustrating not to be able to see the battery level, but the little use I've had so far indicates it will easily last a few hours making it unimportant to me for its intended use.....out and about for short ventures. Since I am not a fan of carrying my mod or phone in my pants pocket, it does fit along with the phone in my shirt pocket. So far, I find little or no difference in the quality of the vape from the baby/big baby beast tanks on my box mods. And the feel of a tube mod now and then is rather nice. Yes, I took it to the concert, but stealth vaping didn't seem like an option as it does chuck some clouds. Thankfully, I find it much easier to go 2 or 3 hours without a vape then when I smoked.
On a side note..... After finding our seats, I did step out to the smoking area for a vape before it started. It has been a few years since I was there last, but I believe the smoking area was smaller and I was surprised how few people were having their last smoke before being confined. And not only that, there was not another vaper in the bunch! Then again, maybe any that were there were really good at stealth mode.
Anyway, the Smok Sticlk V8! Great set-up I would recommend for those looking for something a bit better then a pen, wanting to stay away from external batteries, or just something easy and handy for a quick grab and go.
