Hi all,im new to vaping and I bought my first e-cig with a bottle of Ruthless e-juice..Today I noticed that on the bottle it says that's its toxic ;( ... And one thing that worrys me is that when I take puffs I get a lil bit of juice on my lips..you know its like I can taste it and theres difinitly some juice in the hole..
Now im not a scientist but getting toxic stuff on my lips is probably not very good?? Any help with this?

Can you please describe your setup? Then we may be able to help you eliminate the droplets of juice. And yes, nicotine is toxic; however, you aren't at all likely to have a problem from getting a few drops. Don't stress about it.

Ahh a kangertech mini. Yeah its normal for it to pop. Some...like myself...like the pop cause you get that extra bit of flavor that pops on your tongue. As far as the popping goes...I know of no way to fix it. I know some coils do it more than others. You could always fire your mod a second before you put it to your mouth. I've heard of some doing that. Like I said though I like it and man the flavor! Hope this helps!

Yeah, the subtank can get to poppin' sometimes, for sure. Usually it's a lack of air flow. That coil gets pretty warm. I find if I start my draw a split second before firing, that maintains adequate airflow when the coil heats up to keep it from popping and spitting. That tank is designed for direct lung inhales...needs a lot of air flow.

Sometimes you get popping and or juice spitting back at you. Its nothing to worry about , well it can be hot at times but I've never had it happen more than a 2-3times for a couple of seconds. usually after the attys been sitting for a while.

ETA - actually got some the other day with my subtank mini

In general... the popping is due to getting too much juice wicked to the coil. Couple of factors can cause this... the most common is drawing too hard on it causing juice to over saturate the wick. I'd suggest trying not to draw so hard on it... gentle and slow is your best bet. Also if your tank has adjustable air flow open it up a bit and reduce your draw.

Another factor can be the juice... it's rare but some juice can have water added to it and this can cause it to be too thin or juice with a high PG content. If your juice vendor offers variations in the VG/PG ratio... try one with a higher VG content.

Your are fine. They have to put a toxic warning for nicotine on the bottle due to some state laws. Drinking a bottle of e juice could be fatal especially if you don't use nicotine products. But a few juice splashes won't harm you. Make sure your tank isn't gurgling as that may be the culprit.
Gurgling? culprit?

If you notice your tank setup gurgling when you draw on it, it implies a flooded chamber. If you inhale hard enough, you could aspirate tiny drops of e-liquid. It's really not a big deal, more of an annoyance than anything, but you want to vape your e-liquid, not drink it.

As to the toxic aspect, you will feel other effects before you get to a toxic level - nausea, dizziness, tremors, headache, and more. The toxic dose for nicotine (from a 2013 study) is 6.5 - 13 mg/kg orally. For a 150 lb (68 kg) person, that would be about 440 mg of nicotine at the low limit.

A "high" nicotine level e-liquid is 24 mg/ml. You'd have to drink 18 ml of that e-liquid in one sitting to approach toxicity.

stop using it now.
your lips will fall off your face.
there can be no other outcome because we don't know.
true story.

You're just rotten, lol.
