Hello all! I just got my RX200 yesterday and a shiny new aromamizer to go with. As an avid mech user I have never owned a regulated device since my iTasteSVD ages ago. Since I am so used to mechs I have a couple questions I hope you fine folks can answer for me.

So, normally I build my coils round the 0.3-0.5 range for my mechs and at that range I can tell the drop off at ~3.6v and so I charge them when I can really tell the performance has lowered. I am afraid I will be discharging this too much since the performance does not lower over time. I have looked around and on the companies website, google and so on I cant find what voltage this RX200 will not allow me to go below. I have been checking the battery voltage by turning it off and holding all 3 buttons and right now it reads at about 3.6. I know my VTC4s can go lower than that and the battery indicator icon shown a little under half. I dont feel like discharging it till it stops to find out but just in case I dont pay close enough attention I would like to know what the cutoff voltage for this device is for my own peace of mind. Anyone know this? Really, if it stops at like, 3v I am comfortable with that and wont worry so much but if it's 2.5 I would never be OK with that so I will have to charge before the icon goes too low.

BTW, I love this little thing. I dont think I will be able to completely ignore my panzer but it's amazing and I am LOVING the 0.17 Ohm clapton I have in there right now.

Thank you in advance, happy vaping!

I've had my rx200 for about a month now, really only used it in Wattage mode, but today i updated to v3.00 and I decided to try out TC so i put my tfv4 with the TF-Ti coil in it switch to Ti mode (60w - 500F) vapor was muted and the mod was getting hot and it shows "device too hot" after about 3 hits. Anyone else experiencing this or know how to fix it?

What batteries do you have in it?

The guide says at 2.9v you will get the weak battery warning so anything above 3.0 you should be fine

I don't think any regulated mod goes that low, unloaded, so I may have to find my manual.

We're usually ...... (I'm lookin' at you Sig) when they stop above 3.3 or 3.4, but the norm, including my RX, is just before 3.2. It leaves headroom so under load, it still remains above say 2.5v.

EDIT: My manual says 3.1 for "Battery Low", but it never goes that low before cut-off.

Hmm I must have gotten a weird version of the manual then.

really simple...wait till your rx says low batt... click 5x off...hold power and down to display batt voltage....mine is dead right now and lowest batt is 3.3...highest is 3.44.....
The battery voltage display on the rx200 isn't very accurate though. Test the batteries with a dmm or a charger with a display and you'll find that the batteries are very close in their charge. Anything else would be worrisome.

As for the cutoff, the rx200 (and Evic mini) cutoff at around 3.2v, but I've had plenty of devices that cut off at around 3.5v.

No, you were quite right. I'm not sitting in good light and that white on black text is giving me fits.
I stopped straining to read it at the "Low Batt" section. :p

Perhaps they do mean the voltage under load.
Somehow, I got it in my head that an average drop under load would be around 0.7v.
Even as variable as that is, it's a good conservative (read: safer) value for figuring amps at the battery.
Now of course, it's stuck as my go to.

Generally, "weak batt" will get you either a shutdown, or a quick auto-reduction in wattage.
Maybe the RX only sags about 0.3/0.4 and that level still equates to the normal 3.2ish cut-off?

I've gotten into the rhum, so I won't be giving the issue any skull sweat ATM. :p

ETA: I had a set waiting to go on the charger. After a couple hours to "recover" the LUC4 is showing all starting at right around 3.3v.
