RX200 Problem

What do you mean? I bought two RX200 in January and one had v1.07 and the other had v1.08. They both to change coil type, you had to cycle through by pressing fire three times per cycle. Then with v3.0, you now cycled through with the plus and minus buttons. And yes, the manual is correct before v3.0 firmware.

Are you positive about that?

Granted, I had/have too many new mods at a time, and my memory is a steel sieve... but I'm fairly sure it was just 3 clicks, then "up" to advance through the modes.

Of course, with todays' 250w update, I may fire up the installer.
That would be a chance to downgrade and double check.

That is how I remember it. Unless I have been traveling through different dimensions or something, that is how it was.

I can confirm that when I got my RX with firmware v1.08, 3 clicks of the button cycled through the options automatically, no selecting needed.

My thumb has no recollection of the presumed hundreds of triple clicks that would have resulted in.

Then again... "steel sieve".

eta: I may not get around to checking anytime soon, but I'm fully prepared to apologize for my strident mis-recollection... if that's the case.

I just did the 3.10 upgrade takes me up to 250 Watts. I have no idea why I did it though I don't go much past 75 Watts. Probly just because its a free 50 Watts. Hope it don't mess up my mod.

Quite right (no sound on that vid, or my lappy needs a reboot?)

It's like my reality has shifted... very disconcerting.
Now I'm looking at all my other mods, trying to figure out which gave the recollection of that UI mechanic...

It's no biggie just wanted all of us to be on the same page so there will be no disagrements. I started this thread because this is my first mod, and what I read in the manual wasn't the way it was working. I got a lot of help here but like I said before if I didn't ask I wouldn't know.
