RX300 TC SS

So I have a RX300 and a RX200s. I have an atty with 22 gauge SS wrapped 10 times around a 4mm post reading in at .19. On my 200s I will have it in SS TC running 150 watts at 315 degrees. Works just fine. Put that same atty on my 300 and with the same parameters just about as soon as I press the fire button it goes into protection. Put it back on my 200s and works fine. Can anybody tell me what's going on and how I can get it to work on my 300?

315℉? If that's the case the rx300 is probably behaving as it should. That's a very low temperature so it's not strange at all that the mod goes into temp protect (which isn't an error message btw) quickly, particularly at 150w.

Are same settings used on both mods? Temp and wattage?

315℉? If that's the case the rx300 is probably behaving as it should. That's a very low temperature so it's not strange at all that the mod goes into temp protect (which isn't an error message btw) quickly, particularly at 150w.

I've played with the tcr and I got it working at 092 tcr at 150W at 315 degrees but I shouldn't have to go that route when I'm running SS coils. I would think it would work normally as the RX200s does. I can have both mods set up exactly the same and on the 200s put the atty on and it works in SS mode. Put the atty on the 300 with the same mod, temp and watt and it goes into protection after 1 second. Not understanding why it works on the 200s but not the 300.

No worries. I appreciate it. I have tomorrow off so I will play around with it and see if I can't figure it out. If all else fails I'll call Wismec and see what they have to say.

I had the issues with TC mode on my RX300. Builds that worked fine on my other mod wouldnt even register on the RX300 in TC. When they did, I had to play with the TCR, not to mention they always slipped out in power mode after a few hits. I had 510 trouble too; my nuetron wouldnt connect from the start, and my Reux tank wouldnt connect after only 2 weeks. Needless to say, I returned it. I got a gx350 now and have none of these issues. Good luck!

I know this now but everyone was also saying they supposedly fixed the issue with the RX300. That wasnt the case for me, and I went with the SMOK instead of limiting myself to wismec only products just to see if I got a bad mod. I do not miss the few extra features on the reulaeux.

I've got an RX 2/3 and it been a good mod so far. I personally won't purchase anymore Wismec products because of the problems alot of people have had. That's just me.
