RY4 and Cola carts = wimpy vapor

First of all, let me say, I'm not trying to bash the VK. I just got it and LOVE it already! I've tried the Mboro and Coffee carts and I'm getting awesome throat hit and vapor. Then I tried the RY4 and Cola carts. The vapor from these is very wimpy. Am I doing something wrong, or has anyone else experienced this? I'm really sad because RY4 is my favorite flavor on other PV's.

I don't care for RY4, but got decent throat hits off it. What is the nic level on the cart?

I am willing to bet the 24's would give the throat hit you want...

Yep, throat hit seems to go up proportionally with nic levels.

I took kc0cmp's advice..........."This is true of all cartomizer in a way, but in particular with the new ones..did you notice in my video reviews there was no vapor for the first couple drags on a PT then it came to life?

When you get them they've been knocked up and about in the box like Ali...they gotta get "cleared"...and a passthrough is easily the fastest and best way. Once they come to life (like 3 of my drags or 8 of anyone elses) you can put it on a battery and go to town...takes a little longer on a battery from scratch, but the atomizer is soaked in juice basically and you gotta vape it clear so that it works at peak performance. same happens when you slightly over fill a refill." ............and it worked like a charm. They are vaping much better now. I'm SMILIN again.

The new improved "super full" carts need to be used a bit before they come to life. if you have a passthrough, you wanna break them in for like 5-6 puffs for max horsepower on it.

if all you have is batteries, it will take a bit to really bake the flooded atomizer down to vaping levels...its a small tradeoff for another hour or so duration on a cart in my opinion, but it can be confusing at first.
