Awesome, thanks for your help everyone! I'm pretty sure this is a premium, and in retrospect I think it has a hard cap. My newbie self didn't fully understand the "hard cap" thing because all of our blanks have the soft cap. But when I went to try and remove the cap on the RY4 it's most definitely hard and glued in. That's a hard cap, right?

Regardless, RY4 has most definitely grown on me. I need more! :p

On my premium cartos they didn't have a .... plug...its a built in tiny .... plug. Check & see if that's what you have, if so, it is most deff premium.

It does have a .... plug, and the lighter gold label. I'm so confused. LOL I also have a RY4 18mg sample with the darker gold label that MK referred to. I guess it doesn't really matter. Next order we place I'll see if what I get is the same, and if not, well lesson learned.

Thanks again for your help though!

spiriyv,
If the .... plug is an integral part of the cover cap, it is NOT premium.
The hard cap is not glued, but can be stubborn to remove.

If the .... plug is a seperate piece, it is a soft cap premium.

If it had no .... plug at all, and is a little taller than normal, it is a hard cap premium.

If you don't remember if it had a .... plug, try to put a cover cap on it that has the attached .... plug. If it will not fit, it is a premium.

Hope that clears up some of your confusion.

Thank you, that does help! It has a separate unattached .... plug.

Who knew we could talk so much about .... plugs? ;)

The prem RY4 has the best flavor. Smooth and sweet. The old style has a smokier tobaccoish taste.

This one definitely has a smooth and sweet flavor. It doesn't taste smokey or like tobacco at all to me.

& mine have the snap crackle pop. another way you might be able to distinguish between the two, not always though.

It also definitely has the snap and crackle.

Well, I think the mystery is solved, thank you everyone! Now I just need to be patient and order some more on our next order. :D

For a minute, I thought I had accidentally logged on to a sex forum.

Sorry about typo on your name.

vaping the premium RY4 now, smooth and a little sweet. Reminds me of my pipe back in college.

Ahh, the old days.

Enjoy

Night, that is what my hubby tells me..it smells like a pipe. But my grands think it smells like toast! They both look around to see if somebody is making toast when I vape it.

Both pleasant. IMHO.

And I think they really have something with the crackling sound the premiums make. To me, a relaxing and comforting sound.
Takes me back to my grandparents large stone fireplace that would keep us toasty warm on cold Indiana winter nights.

Hope they don't decide to 'fix' it. :)

Terrie1.......set it side by side with one that you know is a regular. If it is visably taller, it is a premium. Same = regular. It will also be about the same height as a soft cap premium if it is regular. The hard cap premiums are taller than either of the others. I could of shortened that a lot.
