it comes down to the fact that s-e has a down and dirty buisness plan. the gold -aka 4081-aka a hole bunch of other names is a good product not great not the best but good. they know you have an unlimated on line resorce for info and products. so they push there starter kit at a high price on there sight or at the mall. they over sell its abilities to get you to make an ill informed desion. then let you fend for your self for servis and parts. its just how they go about making money. thats there objective and there good at it. they have gotin alot of us but we are trying to fix our mistakes hear and now. i almost paid 145 at the mall but went home to do reaserch first. i paid 55 on amizon for the same thing. then got other parts form other sights be for i found this forum. now i wont make those mistakes again. as with any new product or tecknoalagy theres a learnig curve. learn from your mistakes and move on

Howdy Adverb;
There are a lot of good brands out there. The RN4081 / SE Gold / NPRO is a good little e-cig. Probably not the best, as Gregg said, but pretty good. I found it gives me a good hit, and with some added VG, loads of vapor.

I say, if you already have it, use it and learn. When or if you decide to move on to something else, you'll have a good little back up cig in case your new one gives you trouble, or you need parts.

4081 atomizers are among the cheapest to buy. I get them for $5.50 each. I stocked up thinking I needed a lot of them, and my present atty is going on 5 months old, and still going. At this rate, I have enough to last me a few years.

batteries are interchangeable with the DSE103, so if the supplier is out of 4081's, the 103's work good. Passthroughs are the same too.

I nearly got caught up in the free trial offered by S E, until they called the next day to tell me it was $150 in 10 days. At the time I didn't know if it was a good deal or not but I did like the fact that they didn't tell you that up front on the web site.

After that, I started researching and found the forums. That made me realize just how over priced they were. They called me a week later and offered it for $99 and then $79 but I had already picked up a 2 battery Npro kit from a local cig store for $69.

I have to say that I like the menthol juice I got from the smoking everywhere kiosk. It's more than on line juices but produces great hits.

I'm pretty impressed with mine thus far, it goes to work with me every day, two batts last me through all my smoke breaks. Where this little guy shines is at the bar. EVerybody thinks I have a never ending cig. lol I would like to get a bigger one for home, or maybe just a pass thru for this one, and double carts for it :)
