like the title says i have a question about the use of the afs on the ggts. I was wondering if the afs experience would be considered more like dripping or more like carts when it comes to flavor?

I recently picked up a ggts and was contemplating getting the afs but im prefer the flavor of dripping as opposed to carts....

Also could you use a 510 atty in the afs if you were to drill a hole in the atty and use a 901-510 adapter?

More like dripping without dripping all the time

Better than dripping to be precise because you have - almost - the same amount of liquid in the atty from start of the tank to finish. In dripping the first draws are different than the last ones because after each draw you have less liquid inside the atty.

The Afs is a "must have" for your GGTS

dalton..I actually tried the 901->510 adapter on the AFS..thinking the same thing. It might just be my adapter..but it wouldn't thread. Also the other problem would be that once you drilled the hole it would sit so high in the tank that you'd barely get any juice except the top 1/3rd of the tank if it was completely full. I also think that because the 510 burns so hot..you'd risk either melting o-rings or burning your juice in the tank.

That being said..I've been a die-hard 510 user and although I miss the hard TH of the 510 I must say that the 901 delivers much better vapor and taste by far than the 510 and I'm quite content with that and with the AFS it's soooo consistent that I can't imagine using anything else at this point.

Try it...you'll definitely like it...

Are you having any issues with the leaks from the adapter? I may have to try another 901->510 adapter..maybe the one I used was just a fluke. How high are you drilling the hole? or does it feed through the adapter vents?

Are you just using a GG 901-> 510 adapter....unmodified adapter of course... and no holes drilled in the 510?

I've been using a 510 in my AFS with an adapter I made myself for about a month or more the AFS runs like a champ with a 510 fit correctly

It's about Dam time you tried that and shared ... I was waiting for someone to chop up their adapter before I did it on mine

so you are saying it sucks up the vent holes nicely? I noticed in the pic you must be doing 7.4 volts with the HV atty,am I wrong?
have you tried 6v with standard 510 or 3.7 with LR's yet?

Keep in mind I am taking your word for it.. before I make the dremel leap

looks like he leaves the atties alone and mods the adapter so the vent holes of the 510 can be uses (correct? Jumi?)

my AFS with modded cartos works great and 901s as well, but it would be nice to use my 510's as well... that means I will have plenty of AFS atties at my disposal

No dremels and no modification on the attys. Tried with 510, LR510 and HV510.

Just sand the top of the ASF connector until it is on the same level as the center pin and sand all connector threads except the two bottom ones. Screw a cheap 901 -> 510 adapter and any 510 and enjoy For sanding you can use the thing that women use to fix their nails.

I turned an adapter in my buddies machine shop with 4 holes drilled threw the side of it and I also have my 510's with a small pin hole on them as well. Vapes like a champ Lightgeoduck.!!!

What you messed with the AFS connector it's self?can you still use 901's

OK since I am a Dremel FREAK do you think slits on the adapter would be enough? I use to do it to my 901 connections back in the day for my cartomizers to vape properly...

Might have to try this after my tank empties.... but confirmation is always great prior to doing a project...

OK I see Jumi's connector in the pics it has slots in it, mine didn't have those so therefor I drilled holes in mine but im sure that would work fine since it has those slots in it.

You can sand to fit Duck, but my feelings where the same and I didnt want to do that to mine either, thats why I made my own adapter and it fits like a glove!!!!

I also think your better off with a pin hole in the Atty like the Imeoatty's have, but thats all up to the user I think, some say it floods the Atty to much but I dont think so and I like to run wet my Attys last longer this way for me
