So, I stopped playing with the Super 6 long enough to snap a few pics of it..no where near as professional at North Shore though

With batteries, 510 atty and SS T-tip (eGo in pic for size comparison):

Yes, I like the authentic nature of the images. It's sort of a high voltage still life. The lighting makes some of the shots look like the S6 has an all brass body. I also want to buy one of those carrying cases. Of course, another one that could hold the Super Six with an 801 attached would be ideal--mini-telescope or oversized pen case? Anyway, have a great day. I wish I could, but it's monsoon season here.

this is the short one that has the loop for the carabiner on the cap: Blue Desert Keep 2 Go Waterproof Case - 28mm x 125mm Blue with Gray Cap

also have this one which is longer (long enough to keep the 510 atty and T-tip attached) but just a plain cap: Lighthound Waterproof Battery Storage Tube holds 2 x 18650 batteries or 4 x CR-123 batteries

my trustfire protected batts are longer than the unprotected.
wonder if the protected batts fit it?

Yeah they do fit..slightly tight at least on the one I have...the AW battery fits better (it's very, very slightly smaller than my grey Ultrafires) but yeah the 14500 size is the same as a AA..picked that up from the AW sales thread over on CPF here: AW's LiIon Batteries Sales Thread *Part 11* - CPFMarketPlace

Which if you're into buying batteries direct from the AW dealer via paypal is also another good source for 14500 batteries (and like $1 cheaper per cell than lighthoud)

hey Brock, unfortunately there's no lock on the switch. I tend to remove the atty/carto before pocketing my PVs so it hasn't been a problem but I can see where you're coming from. If I did leave the atty on, I'm sure it will fire as the switch doesn't take much pushing to activate.

The Slim is designed to lock by unscrewing the entire button assembly, a couple of turns. It works fine, once you get used to doing it.

hey pipes, wouldn't the whole switch eventually just falls off after a while in the pockets if you unscrew it?
