Hey Dusty, bet you could still see the and feel the knurled pattern on a black one
Now that would be wicked also!!Someone suggested that I power coat the Knurled diamond pattern to look like Snake Skin! I looked at the closeup pic and if I used the Camo Green color, I bet it would look like snake skin!

Well, We Have Snakeskin!
Malachite Green!
This one is a VariVolt I sprayed heavier in some sections.
This one is a "Kick" Version I did the same thing...
This one is even all over... it can be either a 3.7v/6v or a 5v Regulated...
And This One is a 3.7v/6v or 5v Regulated powdered over with Satin Black...
I wish you could really see in person how cool these all look.
Pics do not show everything your eyes can see!
As You can see... each and everyone of these will be Unique in it's own way!

But, I think I'm going to use Brass Caps instead of Nickle on the Snakeskin Sabers. I think it will go better with it.
I'll leave the Nickle Plated Caps on the Black one!

I would still love to see what a knurled one looks like with just a clear top coat. Maybe with a couple of those new 1/16" turned lines. Man, I think that sparkle would be stunning. Rounded nickel caps, mmm, mmm, mmm... Might be the perfect anniversary gift...
Might be the perfect anniversary gift...It would look pretty much the same. I would use a very clear, shiny clear coat on it. But I would apply it lightly so it wouldn't fill in the machining too much.
Not sure how this works, but is it possible to buff and polish the knurled to a high luster

I wouldn't do it. See, the polishing compound would work it's way into the grooves so tight that you would never get it out. I almost chemically power wash them to get them back to a very silvery look.
