E cigarettes were discussed in this months Transit Chat with Sacramento Regional Transit GM Michael Wiley. A customer asked if the use of E Cigarettes were ok on RT buses and trains and was told not only no but that starting July 1st a new smoking ban takes effect and will ban smoking including E Cigarettes on all station platforms and bus stops.
