Yeah I'm one of those wacky people that seem to care about landfills, ground water, too many drugs in the city water, etc etc etc.

So I'm wondering what the safe way is to dispose of all of our equipment when it dies?

Do you bring your dead batteries to the local "household hazardous waste" dump?
Do you throw your atties in the trash?

And a question that is rare I'm sure - old juice, awful juice, juice that has gotten passed around friend to friend looking for a home and no one wants to use it.... do you pour it down the sink?

Are these safe ways of disposing our equipment?

well, all my batt's so far have gone back to the company i bought them from for warranty replacement so i'm good there

i just started cleaning my carto's but before that i only got about a week out of one and then threw it in the trash.

and my liquid is always gone before i throw it out. even if it doesn't taste good i use it. (not so much because i care about the fact that i'm throwing chemicals in the trash but because i'm somewhat of a tightwad lol)

so all in all, maybe an occasional batt thrown out, but i seem to get much longer than the "one month" that alot of members claim they get out of an 808, and my carto's now that i'm cleaning and reusing them should last for a full month's worth of vapor before they get thrown out. so one carto in the trash every month doesn't really make me lose sleep at night.
