I was curious if its safe to vape on these batteries, sadly one of my box mod kept pulling the wrap when I took them out. Fixed my box mod connectors but haven't used these batteries for about 2-4 months because didn't wanna risk anything.. Any help would be appreciated :)

If there are no breaks in the sheathing, I am not seeing any dents or swelling, they should be fine. Just keep an eye on them with a multi-meter each charge after charging and discharge before charging them. If they are not holding up at 4.1 to 4.2v full charge or if they are below 3.2v removing from the mod, or show below 2.5v the lowest then they are bad and should recycle them, that is the only way to tell if something is bad internally.

Those are absolutely fine to use man! They just have a little wear on them, no dents, or gaping scratches, to me they look like the Sony VTC 4'S I use but I could be wrong, but yeah man you should have 0 problems with those. If you want to be extra careful ^^^^ use a multi-meter to check them out, but they shouldn't be any different because of that little wear on them.

Battery wraps are cheap (ten for a buck) and shipping is only one dollar from battwrap.com. They are applied with a heat-gun or hair-dryer. Do you have two dollars and a hair-dryer? Better to be safe than sorry.

I have (2) nice heat guns...........
But no dollars ATM :(

My wraps are all okay right now thankfully.

looks like normal wear and tear .... they are good for Regulated use.... may not be happy in "some" mech mods tho...

Agreed with the regulated use. In a plastic battery sled you'll have no issues. I wouldn't chance it with mechanical devices that may not have an insulator, unless you re-wrap them of course
