Don't really like doing this type of post but from having a look about it seems the vaping community tends to try and protect newbies so I thought I'd share some negative experiences I had with a vendor as a heads up for anyone thinking about using them.

When I started the whole vaping thing the first site I bought from was ......... and to be fair up until I had a problem Darren did respond to my queries in a quick, polite and timely fashion. That was until I had an issue.

The first problem I had was with a batch of vision ego's I bought from there. I'd previously ordered 15 and all of the items that arrived were in a vision box and had long wicks, my partner then started vaping so I ordered another 15 of exactly the same item for her. We were sent short wick versions in unmarked boxes which quite frankly were terrible. Compared to the first batch I received there was no comparison at all, i'd go so far as to say if these were the items I'd first received not only would I not have re ordered I'd probably still be smoking.

So I emailed Darren asking why I received different items and there was no response. I waited a day or two then I filled out the enquiry form on the website with the same question. The reply given was that the item I had ordered was on offer and I had received exactly what I had ordered. Double checked my invoices and I'd definitely ordered the same item so I forwarded a copy of them explaining what i'd done, no response. This was about 2 weeks ago and still no response.

If that wasn't bad enough I decided to give them another chance (mainly because of price) and ordered 2 of the new vision spinner batteries. The 650 mah one is fine, it's actually a really good product but the 1300mah one arrived with the button pushed virtually inside its case. I ordered 2 so I know exactly what it should look like but this is clearly broken, everything else in the packaging is fine and I find it hard to believe it was damaged in transit.

So I email again. No response. Fill out the web from. No response.

Company seems to be good when you're a prospective buyer but suddenly have no time when something goes wrong. YMMV and I feel I've pointed out some good things about the vendor here but not responding to your customers problems is poor form.

I feel you on this. I recently had a similar experience from a different vender. I know what you mean about posts like this, but I too feel we should let others know to protect them from this type of business. It IS poor form to think this is acceptable. I have purchased a lot of vape gear in the last two years from different places with no real trouble except from madvapes. I think you will find this forum a great place for knowledge, and info to help us avoid problems like this. I know it has helped me. Sorry for your trouble. Thanks for the heads up. I will put them on my "do not buy from" list

Sometimes things aren't how they appear. I've recently resolved my issue with said vendor. Turns out they try hard to please. I hope you get a resolution too

Well after posting this on a different forum and facing various kinds of accusations from the people there I received a response from safer cigs. I'm sent back the faulty unit now and he did answer my first issue (after me asking a further two times), even if the answer was some what disappointing.

Found it a little disappointing that the defense given was "i didn't receive your email" when they're sitting in my sent item box and after making a forum post emails were being received but there you go. Make of it what you will.

Darren seems to be a nice enough bloke and I wish him the best of luck but considering I've spent over £200 in the space of a month I would have appreciated a little more service.

As long as I receive a working replacement I'd consider myself relatively satisfied with the outcome, if a mod wants to delete this then please do but I'll never be ordering from this company again and I'll be directing anyone I convert away from the site too.

Fortunately for me, at this point I've pretty much worked out what components I like so I just need to source a reliable vendor to give my business to and there seems to be plenty of alternatives :)

If it was a thread praising the vendor I doubt you'd get any complaints from anyone - vendors have to take the rough with the smooth imho ;)

What's t3?

The T3 (or Kanger T3) is a bottom coiled clearomiser. So think like the T2 / "Stardust" CE4+ / vivi nova but instead of having the wicks at the top they're located at the bottom.

The theory behind this is, if the wicks are at the bottom of the tank then they're constantly in contact with the juice so you should get less dry hits / less need to roll. Some reviewers have reported a "cooler" vape due to the vapour having to travel a slightly further distance but without trying it myself I don't know how much of that is hyperbole, also not sure if you could counter this by using a higher voltage through it.

I've literally been following vaping for 1 month and in that time I've seen about 4 different versions of the same product be released so I'd expect some revisions on the design shortly after it's been mass tested and feedback given.

Great thing about these clearomisers is they're only about £5 each (tops) and even if you don't LOVE them you'll at least have something as a back up. Let's all not forget that £5 wouldn't even buy you a pack of cigs :)

Here's a link for you :

Kanger T3 Bottom Coil Clearomiser £4.95 - Vaping Spares - Tanks & Accessories Electronic Cigarettes | Vaping Devices | Accessories | E-Liquid

Vapeescape have received a lot of positive feedback on these forums, I've used them myself and been happy with the service so you should be able to order with a decent amount of piece of mind you're not getting some crap sent to you :)
