I find that most flavors that put me off are dry. They actually feel dry across my tongue. Now, I may suffer from dry-mouth, but I don't think it's anything major. My salivary glands produce quite well. I know our bases are humectants and are prone to dehydrating us. I also know sodium can lead to dehydration. None the less, I know I like salt. Generally, I add salt to most plates of food. salt causes saliva production. is there any way to get a salty flavor to add to mixes? Opinions or knowledge welcome!
