Well, being a newbie, I bought into the hype about the Clearomizers/Fluxomizers. I ordered a few boxes from different vendors while sampling different juices. I was really excited once they started arriving but this was followed by a big let down after I got to using them. I tried all the suggested things to make them better but in the end I could only get about one good hit and then have to let them sit for about a half an hour before I could get another one. While I was waiting for them to come in I tried dripping and maybe that spoiled me a bit but these didn't even compare to the carto's I was using before. In the end I wound up with 8 boxes of these things so I was pretty bummed about. Last night I got to wondering about using them for dripping and decided to give it a try. First attempt was a regular sized one 2.8-3.0. I removed the mouth piece and washer and pulled the tube off(almost pulled the ceramic cup off, the cap was tight on it). I pushed the cap out of the tube. Next I pointed the wicks upward as I put the tube back on. After tube was installed I used a small screwdriver to wrap the wicks around the cup, wedging them between cup and tube. Put a drip tip on the tube and gave it a go. Very nice! Only thing I didn't like, tip comes down to the top of the cup. To remedy this I used another reg size one with an XL tube, this one was a 2.4-2.6 ohm. It worked even better than first attempt. Not sure if it's the added tube length, lower resistance or a combo of both. It works better than dripping on a normal atty (haven't tried LR attys yet). Most of the boxes I have are XL so no longer tubes for them, I think I'll take a bit off the bottom of the drip tubes for a little space. Basically I'm turning them into $2 attys for dripping but they aren't going to waste now. Can't wait to see how long they last. Here's a pic showing them:
