Hey everyone,

I've been vaping for about a year now. I vape all day. And I get premium juice etc. I have been using a Vamo v6 with a 1.8 ohm dual coil and a Kanger Megatank. I use Sony batteries. So all good gear. But, in the past two weeks, the flavor tastes dull, bitter, acidic and often burnt. I changed all coils, cleaned out the tanks and parts.....I also use a Kanger Mini 3 tank with a standard vv Kangertech stick. Same problem. Have I acclimitized to this form of vaping? Do you recommend the next step is to get a simply rebuildable? And, has this every happened to anyone else? Can one just get used to vaping and the taste buds or whatever die out....I am gutted. Advice would be welcomed. Thanks.

I had a similar problem a few months ago. Everything tasted burnt and horrible. Didn't matter which flavour I was using, they all tasted the same. Tried different tanks and coils but they made no difference. Mine cleared up after a couple of days not weeks but I've no idea what caused it or why it cleared up when it did. The only thing I could suggest is to try eating something out of the ordinary for you - maybe that will reset the taste buds.

Hi, I just joined also......I had the same thing happen to me with the juice flavor getting bad.....I tried changing everything to new, and nothing....so I started vaping a different style tank and coil.....that worked for a while then the hit wasn't strong enough, same juice. I'm noW using aspire nautilus tank with dual 1.8 ohm coil....been really good.....I was using VV battery. I have now switched to a billet box and I joined to find out how to get the SABOT DDD but have had no luck yet. .....

I haven't experienced this (as I've only been vaping a week) but I just came across a video about Vaper's Fatigue, supposedly it happens to some people and usually clears up after switching to totally different flavors. Like if your ADV is some kinda vanilla, puff on something totally different like menthol or cherry, etc. It's also been suggested that some long deep breaths of the aroma of fresh ground coffee might help cleanse the pallet, like it does for people who taste cheese and wine excessively.

Kinda strange that after a year vaping this happened but I too get wonky tastes buds on occasion and I've vaped over a year. I use to get plagued w/full blown Vapor's tongue a lot but now, just a day here or there. Can't say I experience burnt taste when this happens, just no taste or very faint taste.

How old is your juice your vaping? Are they all from the same vendor..maybe a bad batch? I'd say buy a cheapie dripping atty just to test out the juice. If the flavor comes back, it maybe time to start investing in a good RDA

Thanks everyone.. Really helpful and good to know I'm not the only one this has happened to. I have tried the changing of the juice. Nada. So, I am going to stop vaping for a day (don't know how...I'm still trying to come off cigs so nicotine will be missed...) But, I decided to buy a GP Spheroid V3. I didn't get a clone, so really pricey. But it claims to be top notch for new user to rebuildables. But, I still want to use the evo VV if I am out since oversized mods aren't all that handy to walk around with. Again, good call on giving the taste buds a rest. I hope this works....and thanks again for the tips.
