Hi

I think what he's trying to tell you is 18mg of nicotine at 40 watts will be very harsh on your throat and lungs .
I started with those little pen type devices and 18mg juice .
Didn't find it very satisfying.
Bought a variable wattage device and initially found even at 10 watts it was killing my lungs.
Only after some advice from a good local shop did I realise that I needed a much lower nicotine juice.
I also found a juice with a low ratio of PG worked better for me.
Every person is different , it's a case of trying different things till you find what works for you.
Best of luck.

Welcome back.
I do think 18mg is going to be too much with a 40 watt device, but a few people here do vape even stronger. With 2 setups you do have the ability to try and buy a bottle of much lower nicotine juice and switch back and forth. Keep that in mind. Good luck and let us know how you're doing.

Everyone's nic tolerances are different. I think 18 m.g. is fairly high for a 40 watt setting, but I think 20 is a smidge too high. I'd keep an eye out for symptoms of nic overload, nausea, lightheadedness or headache, yawning and etc. but if you feel no ill effects, it's fine to vape that way and everyone differs on the amount they vape at a time as well. So it may be just fine, the only way to know will just be to try it, and see how you make out. Fortunately, lowering nic is easy so if you wind up loving the vape and want to keep vaping that way, by all means do so at the nic level that winds up working for you.

I been a member of this forum before but it been so long I could not remember my password and user name so I signed up again
Anyway I am beginning to feel I need to be an ex-smoker and the only way I can do it is with vaping!
Currenty I have 4 ecigs with carts and atomizers but it's not cutting I still and occasionally vape
I decided to go with 2-box mods it's called Lite 40 (watt) I am waiting for it to delivered with halo torque 56-18 mg
Hopefully that will work out I am a smoker for about 30 years and I need something I can inhale and feel a thoat hit because I really need to stop smoking cigarettes!!
Hi Mga1, I feel the same, I’ve been cig free about 10 days, the hi Nic in the Juul is keeping me going. Also, I needed a new mod because I needed 50-60 watts to power an Aspire Cleito tank, so I picked up an Eleaf 80 for 30 bucks at my local B+M. Good luck and stay off those cigarettes!

Anna,
I am still a smoker so using the ecig pen doesn't really cut it
I will have to wait and see how the setup works
I know from the last time it didn't work...so...

I have to see when I get the new setup and go from there

Well, obviously you should try your new setup first. I'm not suggesting you do otherwise. What I am saying is that if it isn't helpful, then there are other things you can try.

Best of luck to you, and hopefully SOMETHING works, and it would be great if your new setup did the trick. Vaping came a long way since I first tried it unsuccessfully, so the good news is there are many options now that didn't exist or weren't as commonly known back then. Of course, I was also more motivated to quit, so I had that on my side.
