Hi!,
Don't know much about rechargeable batteries, specially about how to treat them right (getting the most out of them).
Tomorrow, I expect a new Mod (joyetech eVic VTC Dual) and the batteries.
Should I fully charge a new battery or use it all the way down (if any power left when they arrive), before the first charge ?

Charge them fully. They should be around 3.7v when you get them.

The main thing are to buy quality branded (Sony, LG or Samsung) batteries from reputable vendors, know what your amp requirements are and use a battery that can handle this.
