My brother did this when we were kids and now I find myself doing it a lot. Barbecue chips on a sandwich ROCK!

Do you guys ever do rollups? I like to make them with Tortilla, any lunch meat and cheese. My grands like to make Pinwheels. Rollups sliced like a roll of quarters..then they stick a toothpick in them and pile a bunch on a plate with chips. They skip the tortilla. The younger boy has me take apiece of bread and use the rolling pin on it..he then makes a PB&J rollup.

My personal favorite is thin sliced/shaved roast beef on wheat with fresh spinach, swiss cheese, dijon mustard, and real mayo. Maybe a few slices of bacon if I'm not feeling too lazy to fry some, and perhaps some avocado if the weather is warm.
And just in case that sounds too grown up, I..um...usually like to lay some chips on top, just under the bread. Then I smash the whole sammich to crunch them in! Ruffles or Doritos are the best

O yeah. Do those. Elder girl likes her tortillas warmed then the peanut butter spread on them, and warmed again.
Younger daughter will "allow" an occasional roll up but she prefers crusts off "regular" sandwitches. She's the picky eater of the family.
I love French dips. Thin sliced roast beef with swiss or provolone. Dipped in au jus (juice from the roast beef) HMMMM
Peanut butter and banana sandwiches on whole wheat bread are my absolute favorite. <3
I don't know about whole wheat..but PB and banana sandwiches are wonderful!

OMG....for lunch today I am having a MASHED POTATO SAMMICH....i must say i didn't think I could find another way to get more mashed potatoes in my diet (i just love them), but this is awesome...

LOLOL! That was funny Maureen! I loved fried potato sandwiches with a dab of mustard. I love it when hubby makes breakfast and potatos, he always saves me out a dish so I can make sands later!
I can't imagine what that would taste like. How funny. I'm a genoa salami gal since I'm Italian. Just plain and simple I guess.

Well... now sammiches are what's for supper lol! I love black forest ham and swiss with tater chips on it for texture! Yum! Time for dinner
