Mike and I like thin sliced roast beef cut into strips (think steakum's but with "real beef") Green peppers and onions sliced into strips and provalone cheese. Fry the meat or heat it if its from leftovers. Fry the green pepper and onions until tender..add to the roast beef. Butter a bun or sub and put it under the broiler with the meat mixture topped with cheese..when the chesse is melty, eat!
We season the meat with steak seasoning and extra pepper. I like some parmesan chesse in mine.
Mike likes me to hollow out the bread some and toast it a bit before adding the meat under the broiler.
