This is something I have wondered about. If all these prohibitions would get rolled back as vaping became more popular.
If we could get that ball rolling, the whole thing could someday come tumbling down.

What we need to start doing, when the time is right, is start introducing legislation to exempt electronic cigarettes from certain restrictions.
I doubt we'll ever get them exempted from indoor usage bans, but you never know.

At the very least, though, I would like to think we can get them exempted from any of the absurd outdoor bans.

Prohibiting vaping where smoking is allowed makes no sense what so ever. However someone made a comment about companies allowing vaping rooms as a way to reduce smoking. This would make sense for the company as it would save on health costs. However they could get hit from three sides. The health conscious, smokers might revolt, and there might be liability from appearing to endorse something that is not blessed by the FDA or. such.
