Sapphire 3 ohm first impression

Came as advertised, good package, fast delivery, then I put some DIY juice, one that I always use (70PG/30VG) waited 5 minutes, fired it up on my Darwin at 5.2V and jak!!! what a horrible chemical taste, really disgusting.....So what is the score, is it primed??? I waited another 3 minutes, vaped again, the same faul taste but now with burning my throat......So dialed it down to 4.7V and still very bad taste.......Did I waist $20 or am I not intelligent enough to use these ???

I didn't have any luck with the ones I got either. One of them even flooded out the battery connector. Hopefully the newest batch that is coming will be fixed so they work the way they are suppose to and Chris takes care of us by sending out replacements. If you haven't send Chris a PM.

not sure whats going on with the few of yours, we are getting good feedback on the 3.0 ohm version, its possible a few bad ones where in their somehwere and for that you can pm me but the majority of people are loving them, you might want to dial them down a bit and start at 4.4 and go up from there, also dont vape them fast, slow smooth drags only for more vapor.


most importantly you need to check your battery connector, check to make sure there is 4 notches, if their is, screw on your sapphire but keep a eye on the hole in the sapphire connector and as you screw your battery to the sapphire try to get the hole lined up with one of the notches on the battery 510 connector, this will ensure perfect airflow and and bad taste dissapates.

you should always start low on variable devices. this way you dont burn anything.

Tried a third one, same issues, really crap product IMHO. This type of carto should be plug and play, no fiddling around, should work out of the box....it reminds me of the ce2's...

Glad I found this. I had p.m.ed Danno last week to see if I was doing something wrong but got no reply.

I too have this horrible taste. Even let them sit over night in case they needed to prime. Nothing but a burnt yuck taste . I did not use them on a high voltage.

That certainly is not good. I didn't get sick to my stomach but then again, the taste was so bad and it got to my throat so maybe I didn't vape it long enough at one time to feel that way.

Mine work absolutely fantastic, you guys must have gotten a bad batch, these are a fantastic product and produce mounds of vapor with very good flavor, just my honest opinion, I would speak to Chris and Danno about this, they will take care of you like they do everyone and get you the right ones.!!!

I think sOme glue might have gotten to the coil. It happened on one of mine. I took the atomizer out washed it an dry burned it out. Sorry bout your batch man.
