On this type of battery... 3.2-3.3v is what is considered as almost "no charge"... these aren't like alkaline, lead acid and other batteries like that.

Do I need to test the battery periodically or will I eventually just know when it gets to that point?

Darn, the same place I wanted to order the Corolla from doesn't have the Kick in stock. Oh well I'll have to order that from somewhere hopefully that has it in stock.

Thank you again for being so patient and helping me.

Unless you're psychic... testing is required until you at least have learned how long the battery will last for you.

Woah woah woah. Are you telling me that people use lithium batteries and devices where neither one has low-voltage cut-off??? Please tell me you're joking. I guess you could tell from the vapor/throat hit, but that's extremely risky guessing.

Half tease ( ie the psychic portion ) half info... Once I got used to how my mechanical mod's and similar hit... and I'd already verified where the voltages were at... I had no trouble telling when the battery was low without testing. The important part was that I'd based what I was experiencing with the vape on what I had already tested and verified with the meter. Now, I just Kick my mechanical mods and don't worry about guessing... or just use my VAMO which has a meter.

I don't kick my mech and it's pretty obvious when that battery is ready to get swapped out for a new one... flavor, throat hit, and vapor production all fall off pretty quickly. I used to check them in my Vamo at this point, just out of curiosity... always between 3.6 and 3.8 volts. YMMV.

Great, I waited too long to order and now all the batteries are sold out. Oy, Okay, I'm back with more first timer questions. Okay, I'm not psychic. :) With the Corolla do I need to use the flat top or button top batteries? I'll just have to order batteries from somewhere else though. But I will make sure to check the batteries and make sure the charger will charge the type I purchase. Button top or flat?

Because it is telescopic, button or flats will fit fine.

Not all batts are sold out at GV:
Batteries & Chargers : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more

My recommendation (assuming you are not using a Kick):
Panasonic IMR Hybrid High Drain 18650 2200mah Flat Top Li-Ion [gv-PANASONICHybrid18650-FLAT] - $10.99 : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more
(tastes vary, your preference may differ)

And if I am using the Kick, which would you recommended whether they are in stock or not?

I appreciate your help.
