This is about what I do Kobudo. The only issue I still have is that I often get juice in my mouth. I do however not use a drip tip but the regular closing piece.

EDIT:
I think I may have found the problem and a solution to getting juice in my mouth. I removed the soft cap from the cartomizer and saw there was some leftover fluid in between and on the cap and the silicone ring. So I cleaned that off, reassembled and took a few more hits. Opened it and again there was juice, cleaned it again but now I didn't put the cap back on and just left it open and vaped that way, now there is no left over juice.

What I think happens is that the vapor that is left between the coil and the cap becomes liquid again and after a few hits comes through the cap. I also get a cooler hit now, before they were rather hot.

Hope this helps some people as much as it helped me.

I remove the cap, and the plastic piece that covers the ceramic piece. Then I can fill it by holding it at an angle and dripping juice in along the sidewall. I never replace either plastic piece, I use a longer drip tip than the one that comes with them and haven't had any problems. I've had a few come unglued at the base and I'm not sure what kind of glue would be safe to use to fix that, so I'm just careful with those when I'm removing them.

AlphaTrix, I suspected this condensation might be what was going on! With the clearos, you can sometimes see vapor stalled in that chamber between the atomizer and mouthpiece. I've started making an effort to continue my draw after releasing the manual button, to eliminate as much of that as possible.

Yep I'd do that with a manual battery aswell, unfortunatly, I only have automatics atm. Never again :) It looked good on paper, almost like a real cig and that is what appealed to me. But now, realizing the limitations, I'd only get them for situations where I really want my ecig to look like a regular.
