Hello vaping people. I'm new here, so please criticize my post and virtually punch me in the face. I've been vaping for about a year now. Started with pods. Many many pods. Now I typically am using smaller box mods and have found my perfect devices.

........meanwhile.........since the government started f'ing everything up and I can't get my favorite juices anymore, I have started making my own juices. I'm starting to understand and starting to make some good flavors. I just wanted to know if whoever else on here is doing the same thing, could save me time by telling me the mistakes they have made when starting out, or maybe some magical tips that will improve my juices. I was currently curious about the use of saline and any other additives like that which may or may not help or hurt my mixes. I also was curious to talk to someone that has used a ultrasonic cleaner to steep their juices. I've read conflicting reports on that and would like to hear from some horses mouth. I guess that's it. Your welcome for keeping this short and sweet.

Saline used by a few drops can add a juiciness but there are many other flavors that can do that without gunking up coils/wick. Most buy wound cleanser 9% saline. Read the label and make sure the only two ingredients are salt and water. Personally I prefer FA pear, INW cactus, or WF starfruit for added juiciness. For salty notes try VT or FW salted caramel.

Welcome. Saline used to be popular here for while--you can search the forum. I'm not sure exactly why and it seems like it went out of style.

Ultrasonic cleaner is also suggested some time, I don't think it's worth the trouble. Just shake, taste and if you don't like it, put it away for a wee or so. ;)

A good bit of info is that Sucralose gunks up coils and wicking very quickly and at low levels. I've got a batch to get round to at some point with Sucralose at 0.25%, as at 1% I'm getting some serious gunking happening.

Ethyl Maltol is the better sweetener I've used so far, as it doesn't gunk buildup the same as Sucralose.

But I wouldn't mind trying Xylitol as it's somewhat similar to Sucralose, but it's natural and doesn't contain Chlorine like Sucralose.
