Some cartomizers are garbage fresh out of the box. They're mass produced and quality control slips. Try two or three more before you write them off as not for you.

Greenhouseone is another vendor that ships directly from China, I believe. Eastmall.net is another one, I think. With the upcoming Chinese New Year, you might be better off ordering atomizers and drip tips from a U.S. or European vendor to get it quicker. Then you can order replacements later from China for less money, if that's possible.

Here are some Greenhouseone links for your consideration:

LR510 Atomizers Pack of 5

LR306 Atomizers Pack of 5

They also have 2.8 ohm atomizers listed as "Regular Atomizers"

510/901 Delrin Drip Tips

510/901 Aluminium Regular Drip Tips

510/901 Aluminium Wide Mouth Drip Tips

306 Delrin Drip Tips

306 Transparent Trip Tips 7 Colors

Wow! Thanks for pointing these out! The attys dont look like they are genuine Joye though. People seem to recommend the genuine joyetech stuff, have you tried these?

And you are right, today is the last day they will ship out via EMS! Well good advice Mudflap, I think i'll get some attys from the US first and then look for Chinese vendors. I dont think i want to wait until the 31st Jan for them to resume and then ship the attys. I have ordered one atty from reosmods.com when I ordered the Reo, I dont think the first atty will last long enough for me to wait. So I guess its going to be a US store then... I have only bought from cloudsofvapor.com yet. What site would you recommend to get the atties from? And if its a US vendor, then I guess my options are thrown wide open, so what are the most recommended attys I should try?

I don't think Joye atties are any better than other Chinese atties, to be honest. I've had some attys perform marvelously and others from the same manufacturer and order be total garbage from the start. Vapor Kings sells Joye attys in bulk for a very decent price, but I don't know if they ship to India.

The best atomizers are sold by Avid Vaper (Cisco Spec) and Ikenvape. Again, that's just my opinion.

Other U.S. vendors that have never let me down are Mad Vapes, Good Prophets, RTDvapor, atomicvapors.com, Vixen Vapors, elctronicstix.com, breezesmokes.com, and some others that don't come to mind right away. Of course, Reosmods will sell you more attys and cartos if you want to place an order there.

Edit: I've also ordered attys from Value Vapor a couple of times and was satisfied with what they sent me.

Took your advice and ordered some attys from Avid Vaper. I ordered 1 of each of various types to try, a 1.5ohm 510, a 1.8ohm 510, a 1.8ohm 306 and an HH.357 too. Will try em out. If their lifespan for me is at an acceptable 3 to 4 weesks, then I might be ok with ordering expensive attys from the US. Else the next thing I would try is the 5 pack Joye from Vapor kings or any Chinese site that promises to sell genuine Joye :). If a vendor doesnt ship outside the US its fine for me, as I use a service called shopandship.com that gives me a US address and they forwards all shipments from there to me in India, while handling customs etc. Its just that it gets expensive and I wouldnt think of ordering weekly or biweekly supplies using them.

I also ordered the AW IMR batteries, a Pila charger with a car charger attachment (I know a Reo on a 18650 lasts all day and may not need this but I still need it for some of my other batteries). So seems like I am set to rock and roll in Reoland soon :D

Still waiting for my Reo, but I am going to get it about a week before I get the Attys and Batteries :( I guess I will be playing with the magnetic sliding door for a while before I get to really use it :)

It's all you ECFers and Reonauts fault I tell you :D

Seriously though, from everything I have read, I am pretty confident about the Reo and wanted my first experience with it to be as close to perfect as possible! So I figured I'll get the best stuff for it! Will keep you updated about my experience soon as I have the goodies.

WOW!!!

I finally received my batteries and attys 2 days ago and my whole perception of vaping has changed! The Reo has done it! I am now officially a pure vaper! This thing vapes so good that I dont think smoking cigarettes will ever cut it for me again!

I first tried the Cisco spec 1.8ohm 510 atty from Avidvaper for the first day and it was awesome. I had done my reading and amazingly I had absolutely ZERO learning curve. Filled the bottle with my healthcabin RY4 (PG base), put on the atty, squonked until I saw some juice peak out of the holes, did a dry pull, and hit it, clouds of vapor! The only mistake I made was that I forgot to blow out the primer from the atty. So the first few hits had some bad taste, but was quickly replaced with delicious vapor WITHOUT the nasty filler taste of cartos that I dislike so much.

I then tried out the Cisco spec 1.8ohm 306 atty using the 306 to 510 driptip adapter, and to my surprise it tasted and vaped even better! The 306 seems to be a crowd favorite and I now understand why.

I have been squonking every time I start to get a little burnt taste and it seems to work fine that way. I havent flooded any of my attys yet. The only downer of the 306 is that I feel I need to squonk a lot more than with the 510 as the burnt taste comes up much quicker.

I still have to try out the 510 1.5 ohm and finally the much reputed 1.5ohm HH.357 long barrel which I have got. But honestly I dont know how it can get better! Will keep you all posted about my progress.

I have some amateur questions for the Reonauts though:

The tiny pipe that comes with the Reo is to thin down the juice path, when should this be used? Is this useful for PG juices or VG based ones?

Would the Reo leak / drip juice if I kept it in a horizontal position in my bag?

So I really love the Reo. What I liked the most is that the bottle of Juice lasted me for more that 2.5 days and so did the battery. Its an absolute 'fill it, shut it, forget it' kinda device and thats exactly what I was looking for. My only issue with it is that its very big and bulky for my pockets and feels more like a desktop vape than something that you carry everywhere. Obviously this is the drawback that comes with the awesome lifespan of a battery charge and a bottle fill, however I feel the need for a smaller, more compact vape. So I am guessing I will probably be looking for a Reo Mini soon, or maybe try out the vapage vmod (If I can get the company to somehow accept my Indian credit cards :p ). I dont like wooden PVs much as they seem to add size to the device, and am a big fan of AL and SS :D. So i'd love some advice on the next vape I should try out to add to my Reo grand bliss. Essentially I am totally convinced that the bottom feeding vapes are right for me, all thanks to you people and your advice :)

Thanks people!

You probably would only need the reducer tube with PG juices, VG is thicker. Or you might need it when the weather is warm. Don't worry about it unless your juice starts "self feeding". I live in an area where it is very cold in winter and very hot in summer and have never needed it so it will just depend. As far as a stealth mod, the Mini would be great for that. I have never tried a Vapage, but you should know that from what I understand it feeds a bit differently than the REO, you will want to check reviews on it to see if it will work for you. Congratulations on your REO!

The Mini will serve you well for a smaller PV. The durability will allow you to feel comfortable that it will withstand mishaps when out. You will have a PV that can be dropped on cement, run over, dropped into water, and more. Of course we hope none of that happens, but these REO's have been there, done that, and still worked as new!

I just read some of that thread.......We're a "cult" :) :) :)

The reo is the best purchase you will ever make. Period.

You will need batteries & charger and eventually backup ones. There is a thread in the sticky area about your first mod & what you will need. A lot of good information there.

I am a mostly a carto person but I think most use atties, I like the Boge 2.0 LR cartos.

Welcome to the REO cult :)
I just read that too I KNEW WE WERE A CULT!:)

Grand is a great choice. To start I would suggest you go with easiest setup and use, to me that means cartos either 2.0 Boges or Resurrectors 1.7. You just screw on, squonk and off you go. Quickest way to get up and vaping, and economical (CCV). After a while when you get hang of squonking then its a good time to try out all the various atties til you find the right one for you. Good luck and the fun is finding what's your combo for the Great Vape.

Well, I for one just cant get accustomed to cartos. I have tried the 2.0 and 1.5 ohm Boges, and some other dual coil cartos with my ego batts, cant seem to shake off that filler taste. Maybe my juice (Healthcabin RY4) is a bit too mild that causes it. Infact the only setup I was happy with before the Reo was the stock Ego-T tanks system, that doesnt have the filler material. So my key reason to get into the Reo world was to go away from cartos and use attys without the hassles of dripping. Though I intend to try out the Boge cartos on my Reo, I am in love with the Cisco spec attys from Avidvaper (thanks to mudflap's recommendation)

The only thing missing for me is a more pocketable form factor and a better choice of flavors. Being in India, I am restricted to the Chinese vendors or USA vendors that provide international shipping.

You could think about a holster for your belt. Some people make them for a REo and some people have cell phone cases that work well. I use a small camera case on my belt if I don't have a shirt pocket

I use triple flavored juice, so I get the flavor and 1.7 Resurrectors and am happy BUT if an atty comes out that lives up to its billing in terms of consistency, longevity and ease of use I would try in a minute because there is no doubting more flavor from atty.

Welcome Darco! I too am a newbie to the REO cult, but I can say that I am extemely happy to have joined. I read a lot before I purchased, and perhaps I just got lucky on the "learning curve" that is often talked about, because I feel like I had blissfull success right from the first. I purchased the 306 Atomizer 1.5 Ohm Bauway from "TheEcig.com" along with a pyrex tip, and for me it has been pure heaven.

Happy vaping and welcome.:)
