I came upon this forum while looking for an answer to help with my nautilus coils, as I rinsed them with warm water, let them dry for 2 days, primed it and it worked fine for about 10 draws then, burnt taste. From what I see and hear I did exactly what I was supposed to and yet I am the only one this happened to, with both spares I had! Frustrated and saying hello at the same time

If you are using the BDC coils you will find that quality control on them is very hit and miss. If you havnt already, try and get the new BVC coils which produce better flavor and vapor and last longer. The drawback to the BVC's is, when they are done...they are done....no cleaning or dry burning to bring them back.

Can you dry burn those coils? Mu iclear 30 coils do the same thing unless I dry burn them and rinse again.

You can dry burn the BDC coils but the quality control issues mean your results may not always be that great. On the other hand you may do very well, personally I never had any luck with them, and replacing them was cheap enough imo.

Welcome Nikki Marie to ECF. If possible can you start at a lower volt or wattage.Then work your way up.

I'm using the BVC's and noticed I have not had any problems.....with the BDC's the coil would only last a few days and once they got that burnt out vape taste I'd get rid of them.

I have soaked my coils ( BVC and BDC ) in Evereclear and they would clean up very nicely.
