I just ordered a SB and can't wait to get it in. I was wondering if my standard 510 atty will work on the 3.7 and 6v system or if I need to order new ones specifically for the SB?
Hard to say. Depends a lot on your vaping style. My experience : the only atties I have had fail were 2 joye 510s being used at 6v in my BSB. I have some 3 month old joyes still kicking around but once I started using them at 6v they wouldnt last more than two weeks.
So I guess with the 6v I would have my attys live longer taking a short (2-3 second) hit and letting it cool down instead of the 5-6 second hits from my 510 manual batteries.
Got my SB in January and still using the same 801 atty with adapter. vaping at 3.7 with the 18650 battery. I trade off with my BB. Hubby has gone through about 3 attys in three months.
An atty a month seems great compared to how long they are "supposed" to last with regular use. I panicked when I read about the 3-7 day life and ordered 10 this week.
