I just got all the extra lil things I needed to get my SB going, but what did I forget??? I got the SB, the drip tip, the 510 atty, the battery, the charger and a cover thing! But don't I need a carto, is that what I forgot and witch one do I get? Man I knew I'd mess up if ordered from two diff places! Probably to new to order a SB but I really wanted to try one! Plus I really don't like dripping, but everyone talks so highly of the SB, I could not resist!

Sounds like you got everything you need. Hope you got more than one battery... one to use while the other is charging! A cartomizer (carto) is basically an atomizer with filler material, so you saturate the filler to hold more juice, thus more time in between refills. An atomizer is filled with (these are approximate, every atty is different) 5-8 drops from the start, and when it gets dry you drip 2-4 more drops. It takes some getting used to, and is kind of a pain, but the vapor, flavor, throat hit are far superior to what you will get from a cartomizer, in my opinion.

That setup sounds like you can use right away. If you get a 510 atty, you'd just direct drip the eliquid into the atomizer. Cartomizer + tank setup, is more of a set it up once and forget it, somewhat easy to refill. Vivi Nova tank is even easier to setup/refill.

If I were to rebuy my Silver Bullet, I'd have this in the cart:
Silver Bullet, 1x 18650 IMR 2000mAh, charger, a pack of 1.7 ohm single coil XL length (low resistance) cartos, DCT tank, and a 30ml bottle of juice (bare minimum order)

2x 18490 IMR batteries, Kick, pyrex tank, and driptips! (nice things to have along with the bare minimum)
18490s are shorter battery, and together with the kick, fits the Silver Bullet without the need for extension sleeve. If you want to use 18650 + kick, then you'd need the extension sleeve (which altsmoke only have in chrome, currently).

Edit for clarity.

Taste is mostly from your liquid delivery system (clearos in this case). The silver bullet has a 510 connection, so you might need a 510 to ego adapter to use say a stardust (or anything with an ego skirt).

If you are going the carto/tank route (don't forget to buy the cartos prepunched, or prepare another method to make a hole on the carto, for example, a dremel, or a saddle valve punch)

    Hey YoureFired,
Somehow I knew you would find a SB thread! LOL

LMAO, YF just can't seem to leave them alone

Forget the 18490's that were suggested and get a Kick sleeve for your SB instead. That way you set the kick up and forget it instead of removing it every time you change out the batteries.

try to remember im still new, what's a kick?
There's a video about the Kick if you scroll down the page of tj99959's link. But basically it allows you to use variable voltage with your Silver Bullet, should you decide that at some point. Being relatively new to vaping, don't feel that this is a neccessity at this stage. Just realize that a Kick in a SB is a possible option to try in the future.

I think you'll like the SB. It's been around a pretty long time in the vaping community and has earned a respected reputation as a well built, durable mod that should last you for years. It was my first mod, along with a baby SB, the BB.

Be sure to get some Novalox from almost any hardware store to occassionally de-oxidize and lubricate the SB's tube threading. This maintanence every couple of months is recommended by AltSmoke and will keep the threading from locking up. Buy the smallest amount available. A tiny bit goes a long way and will probably last you a lifetime. I found mine at Lowe's in the electrical department. By the way, don't put this on the center post on the top of the SB.

If you find that a low resistance (LR or 1.7 ohm) atomizer or cartomizer produces too harsh or too hot of a vape, move up to a 2.0 - 2.5 ohm standard resistance atty or carto. Some people, like me, prefer a cooler vapor, so that is what I use.

If you wish to use your Ego threaded clearomizers on your SB, you'll need to get one of these 510-to-ego adaptors to connect the two. 510 to [eGo] Adapter

One of the nice things about the Silver Bullet is it can take a huge carto tank because of its large diameter/size. Such huge juice capacity can mean up to 7ml. Below is a 7ml pyrex tank on my SB.
