My SB just died. Doesn't firing at all. I haven't dropped it or anything like that. What possibly can cause that?

The first thing I'd check is the atty or carto, meter it and see if it's still good. If it is try a new one anyway, maybe the one you're using isn't making good contact. If it still doesn't work give Altsmoke a call tomorrow and see what they have to say. You might also want to post this in the Altsmoke forum where more people who own SB's will see it. Perhaps someone else has some suggestions that will help.

check to make sure the spring hasn't collapsed, and give the SB a thorough cleaning on the inside with a swab or qtip and some alcohol. you'll also want to make sure the spring is not corroded. If you have some noalox, clean the threads and re noalox the threads. These little bits of maintenance will help and will also let chad and rob know you have gone through some additional troubleshooting.
On some mods the center positive battery contact can get pushed down . It is only free floating with an isolator between it and the negative outer part of the threading . You can gently pull it back up .
This one looks like my case - I've noticed the positive contact plate inside the SB head is floating. I'll try to pull it back, but have no idea how to secure it..
