So starting vaping I started out on a 2.5 ohm Dual Coil atty. I vaped everything on 6v on the Vamo. I dialed it down to 2 ohm Dual Coil and started vaping at 5v which I liked much better but I feel the higher voltage kills some of the flavor and makes it much more harsh. Tried 1.5v Dual Coil and it's nice tastes good, vapor is cooler.I just recently (yesterday) got a single coil 3 ohm double punch smoke carto and man it's way smoother still getting huge clouds, flavor. So I'm wondering if anyone has noticed a difference in flavor and what the benefit of dual coil besides the obvious of there are two coils working instead of one and if juice is affected by the different styles (this juice tastes better on this, this juice burns better on that, ect.)

Welcome to the wonderful world of Who Prefers What.

Like you, I have tried a bit of this and that. Unlike you, I have tried MOST of this and that. Honestly it all comes down to how well you adapt to certain pieces.
Some people will praise and swear by Dual coils. For others it will only be HR(3.0ohm)single coils - etc. I have found, by learning what works best with which power setting/Device/juice, most devices are very good. some manufacturing flaws will effect individual results.

Simple answer - If it works for you, it is what you want.

Started on the single coil cartos on cigalike stick batteries. Moved on to a couple of mods with cartotanks. They came with dual coil carts (DCT) and I just assumed that is what was supposed to go with them. However, I noticed a burnt taste quite often. Read up on ECF and discovered a lot of people were using single coil cartos in DCT tanks. I switched over to them and have never looked back.

Much smoother vape with more flavor, same vapor production, and longer battery life with the single coils.

Not a fan of warmer vape, so I don't use low resistance delivery devices. I prefer a cooler vape, so I use standard resistance on single voltage battery devices, and high resistance on variable voltage devices.

Try to get some Ikenvape 510 Fusion or Platinum cartomizers. Often out of stock but get put on the 'notify me' list; worth the wait.
