My cat would beg to differ and tell you that it's the other way around. When we acquired our 3rd dog, (what we think is)
a Bassett Corgi mix, she had shown up on this lady's doorstep and continued to hang out with her dogs for lack of anywhere else to go. The lady had tried to give her away once, but the person that took her said that she had a problem with cats. Because we have a cat we were wary, but since the cat had been rescued from a park that's really a well groomed wildlife refuge, we figured she could take care of herself. It became very evident very fast that the dog's problem with cats is that she wants to hold them down and lick the stuffings right out of them, and to a cat that's an indignity worse than death.
