So it's possible that this has already been seen or done a million times but to me it's new so I figured I'd post!
I have a brushed stainless steel smok magneto and the other day I dropped it while i was running across the street and before I could turn around and pick it up, a van ran it over!!! Now I know this thing is a beast because it still works flawlessly but unfortunately it was scratched beyond belief:( well long story short, after seeing a youtube vid, I went to the store and bought a couple of scotch brite non-scratch scouring pads and simply rubbed the tubes on the scouring pad in the direction that I wanted the finish to look and seriously after just a couple of minutes my magneto looked just as new as the day I bought it!! I couldn't believe it!!! Just thought I'd share because I thought is was sooo amazing:) hope this helps anyone who may suffer from having scratched mods and may need a touch up!!!!

Caution!!! If you use this method on a polished steel mod it will give a brushed finish look so only use it on brushed finished mods!

In the vid that I watched, the guy originally showed how to give a polished stainless mod a brushed stainless appearance so I believe if you do it to a shiny stainless mod it will kinda dull it and give it more of a matte brushed look. I know a lot of people with the polished finish mods use a machine to buff it and then polish it.
And I will be sure to post picks soon:) :)

Sadly I didn't take any pics of my magneto after it had gotten scratched:( but I can post a pic of what it looks like now!!
Also, if you go to you tube and look up Z Vaper, he has a vid called Scotch Brite Scouring Pads are your new BFF. It is the exact video I watched before I tried it myself! Hope it helps:)

p.s be careful on the bottom cap. The shiny part of the cap that has the "dimples" on it is chrome plated. If you scour that it will give it a copper penny look. Good luck!!

Yeah exactly. That's what the great thing about it is. At any time you get sick of looking at how beat up your mod is you can touch it up a bit.
If I doesn't bother you than exellent! But for some, who don't want to have byers remorse after spending there hard money on a new mod because they dropped it on the concrete one to many times or others who have had a device for a long time and are just tired of seeing how "used" there mod really is. They can tune it up a little.
The point is, it pisses you off when you do something stupid to your mod and scratch it up but at least you have piece of mind knowing that it may be just as simple as getting a scotch brite pad to fix it up...if you so choose.
