Scratches on meck mod

Does anyone know of a way to remove shallow scuff marks on a mech mod? I have a brushed poldiac and, although it's still beautiful, it does have a couple scratches. Any ideas on how to get rid of the scratches or do I just have to live with it? Thanks in advance!

You can use a metal polish, a microfiber towel and some elbow grease to freshen it up. Deeper scratches require a buffing wheel attached to an electric polisher/grinder to tackle. But if they're really deep, learning to live with them is the best option.

Your attachment isn't showing up for me. But I also just re-read your original post and noticed it's brushed. Too much polishing may turn it into a polished (shiny) finish. You could still use a metal cleaner/microfiber to freshen it up. It won't remove deep scratches, but should rejuvinate it nicely.

Brushed mods are very hard to maintain. Your best bet is to use the green side of a scotch brite, and some elbow grease. Just make sure you use the scotch bright on the whole mod and not just the scratched area, otherwise you will end up with patches.

Seriously though, Nicks/scuffs on a new piece drive me nuts. Even on a discount or cooped purchase, I want what I paid for in New Condition and without flaws.(luck never runs that way)
