I've looked for a SD specific subforum, but haven't found one. So, I landed here with my questions.
I've had my SD MkII for a while now. I dismantled it almost immediately upon receipt and am thinking I may have lost a spring or something.
My concern is the button. There is nothing to 'push' it away from the ON position, other than gravity or manually pulling it out. Is that normal? I once set it down and returned after a few moments to find it activated and visibly emitting vapor unattended, quite hot.
Also, I have also been totally incompetent when it comes to attaching lanyards to anything, the SD being no exception. So, I haven't even attempted to attach the neck lanyard. The lanyard for the safety cap was challenge enough and I'm pretty sure I even did that wrong, as the cord makes putting the cap on require more force than I think should be necessary. But it does go on with effort and I knew without the lanyard I would certainly lose the cap.
I haven't actually been using it too much due to the button concern. I'm noticing tonight that the button isn't making a very solid contact. Sometimes getting good vapes, and the next attempt not much if any. Using a freshly charged battery, and I've tried more than one. Hmmmm.
