Yeah, I am not too happy with Totally Wicked. Ordered a Mega atty and they sent the atty with a regular cart. I called and they basically said tough luck, order the mega attys.
So basically I have a mega atty I can't use :(

Yep, all the TW mega atties come with an empty normal cart, so you have to buy the thoroughly overpriced mega carts, too.
Couple of shops in China have those for less money, though.

Ordered several weeks ago, and have been eagerly anticipating delivery.
I got the Tornado/eGo, Screwdriver, and Mega 510.

I was really disappointed when I opened the package and discovered the power cords for the Mega 510 multicharger and the Tornado had Euro plugs. :(

I already had a 510, and can use the cord from its charger to power the multicharger ... on which I can charge both the Mega 510 and the Tornado (with its charger adapter). But, I'm wondering if they screwed up or if they always send Euro cords to the USA.

Otherwise, so far so good! I'm really enjoying the SD, and looking forward to giving the Tornado a shot. And, trying to figure out how to attach the lanyards to the SD (especially the one for the button safety cover)

My arsenal might just be sufficient for a while. :D Still got a juice Box in the works.
Have the Screw Driver and Tornado, both from TW (totaly wicked), mine came in with the correct adapter, relating to the lanyard, I put both on, however, it is difficult to put end cap over the ignition switch (button), thus I removed the neck lanyard and left the button one on, in reference to that, it can be a P.I.T.A., just keep working on it. had a heck of a time getting that metal slip ring on the button, like I said it can be done, don't understand why they didn't do that at the factory. I purchased all my supplies from the U.S. site, as a matter of fact it is in the same state as I am. Have fun and enjoy your PVs.

Have no problem with TW, fast shipping and reasonable prices, have only good things to say RE: USA branch of TW.
Another good distributor of the e-cig. is E Smokey Shack, ordered the 510 from them, one battery was dysfunctional from the onset, notified them and within a short time a new battery was sent to me, all I did was throw the other out, he didn't want it. I rate them highly. Good Juices also.

I just want to add - word of mouth business is a HUGE deal with these companies and it may be that TW USA might want to rectify the issue, even though the issue was your fault from using the UK site (as you've said yourself, I;m not knocking ya) in error.

Am I missing something? Are these two different companies?

AlexTM,
Yeah the mega came with the short blank cart. So by that logic I should order a regular atty, it should come with the mega cart...right? Sorry, but it makes no sense to sell a product with the wrong part on it. Besides, the cost of both tips would be the same for them. If you ask me, it's just a way to get you to spend more money, TW is totally misleading the buyer. Their juice sales pitch is the same too. Also my order was from the US site, and I got charged for overseas purchase. WHAT GIVES WITH THIS COMPANY:(

All atomisers generally come with a blank only to stop the primer leaking. I don't know where you have bought any atomiser with a cart and filler together???
An e-cig comes in three parts, battery, atomiser and cart, except the cartomiser which is a cart and atomiser in one.
As for the extra charge I think that has to do with paypal and not TW.
I hope I have helped.:)

The filling isn't the point, I think most of us have at one point just filled a blank with some fluval, or whatever, to use it as a cart. If you ever have just one atty with its blank, all you need is some filling and you are good to go.

Not so with the mega atty - you have to buy not just the atty, but also 5 carts. And IIRC, you were not told this at least in the beginnig. So people brought those very expensive atties and many ended up not being able to use them, because they wanted to fill that blank as they are used to for starters.

I've bought attys from some vendors that came without blanks, or had blanks the were just "cut down" (ie short). I think the assumption that all attys come with a cart that can be filled (as opposed to used for dripping) may not be a fully reasonable expectation. It's not one I've ever considered making. But, to fair, I've also bought carts and the same time as any "new" (to me) atty...

In turn, I've never had an atty that came with anything but a normal, round, empty cart. But then, I only have two that are not Joye. (Well, except my 901, which either also came with an empty round one or without any, can't remember.)

With a 510 atty, and especially at that price, I'd expect at least one useable cart, even if I had to fill it first.

MOOG, you need to do your homework, and also read. The TW sight shows a mega atty with a cart. The text says that the atty is larger and takes a larger cart period! It does not tell you the mega atty you are about to buy for $17 has a regular cart, and you need to pay $13 more for five carts to make the system complete, and to work...do you understand now?
I also know the carts are blank and was not even mentioned in my posts.
The point is; why sell a product with the wrong part on it? TW has the same cost to them if it is the small or large cart.
AS FOR the charge thing; I used VISA, not PayPal. This transaction fee leads me to believe that the US site only handles sales, but money goes through UK. Again, TW is misleading the buyer--that's three accounts of it on one order--dude, they suck!

PROF BEARD, for a professor, you really need to read better, and understand. My post is about getting a wrong part on a product. Heck, I don't care if it came with one or not--tell me/ us what the heck you're "really" selling so I can get my order right...what is so hard to understand about that people, jeez!

You may want to start to read better yourself or at least look closer. For the $13.00 you do not get 5 carts as you stated you get 10. I hope I helped and you understand jezz!

No need to get grumpy! I understood what you were saying perfectly well - I was only suggesting (note suggesting not insisting) that just perhaps your expectation wasn't as reasonable as you think it is (based on my own experience of buying lots of different atomisers over more than a year). In all honesty it doesn't, to me, seem something to get so worked up about...

yeah you're right, I'm a little grumpy...coming off meds from major surgery, so sorry I was ranting and all. Still I do not understand why most people think it's ok, or think I'm expecting too much when the photo on a web page shows a complete product with no text to inform you about your purchase. I don't care about the money, or how it comes--I just want to know what I'm buying so I can make an informed purchase. To me it's is misleading and tacky to do that. Anyway I'm done, no more ranting.
