Screwing tank too tight

Why are these Kanger Aerotanks so hard to refill. I'm always over tightening. Then it's hard to get apart again. This is crazy. I'm only snugging it up so it don't leak. ?? Any advice is appreciated.

Heat may be making the parts swell. Try sticking it in the freezer for a bit when you need to get it apart.
